This is a quality post, Sir. Woot won't give it to you because they enjoy wasting entire days with overpriced vacuums. But consider yourself at 59.

OK, Starting on Dec 14th and running through the 25th, I'll run a "12 Days of Wootmas" simulation and add results each day to a post in the each day's community forum. On Dec 25th we'll be able to add up the totals and see who came out ahead (everyone wins with Woot!, right?)

This all assumes that I have web access for all those days...

Here are the players, random pairings, and schedule:

On Dec 14th Leonard will buy whatever is on Woot for Karen
On Dec 15th Karen will buy whatever is on Woot for Leonard
On Dec 16th Bernadette will buy whatever is on Woot for Becca
On Dec 17th Becca will buy whatever is on Woot for Bernadette
On Dec 18th Howard will buy whatever is on Woot for Penny
On Dec 19th Penny will buy whatever is on Woot for Howard
On Dec 20th Sheldon will buy whatever is on Woot for Raj
On Dec 21st Raj will buy whatever is on Woot for Sheldon
On Dec 22nd Charlie will buy whatever is on Woot for Mia
On Dec 23rd Mia will buy whatever is on Woot for Charlie
On Dec 24th Marcy will buy whatever is on Woot for Hank
On Dec 25th Hank will buy whatever is on Woot for Marcy

My apologies to Amy Farrah Fowler for not including her but there was only room for 12. Maybe next year, sweetie.

Wow - good find. The first roomba I bought from woot way back when died within a couple of months and we just shelved it. I remember it not ever docking once - but it was an early model. I should have returned it but eventually forgot about it. I may try this HSN deal and save the 15% with a first purchase! Hopefully the experience will be a better one!

Why would you buy a ghetto Roomba? It's like half the quality and costs more. This company clearly won't last long.

I'm waiting for the Rainbow version. My Rainbow is a pain in the ass to set up, but the water traps more stuff and you can just flush the water. I've had a Kirby, which was traded in for a Rainbow... yes they'll trade in your expensive vacuum for another.

So happy to see this! The bf and I were just talking about getting this the other day. I did peruse a few helpful reviews over at Amazon, and I found Engadget's review very helpful, complete with video. :D

Hmmm ... I wonder why people are paying $50 more on eBay than they could on Amazon , etc.?

I bought this when they first came out last year...or earlier this year whenever it was at the full $400 price.

This is way better than the roomba which is now just sitting on a shelf in the basement. For $299 brand new it is very worth it.

Unlike the roomba which uses more hope in the rolling brushes to clean carpets with a weak suction ... the Neato works more like a regular full suction vacuum with the roller bar that beats the carpet letting the powerful suction do its removal of dirt, bugs, etc.

So again for on $299 ... BUY IT!
Then throw that Roomba on eBay to get some cash for it.

Dear Woot,

You truly did it today. I registered for the Mint for Christmas (don't like doing Christmas giving that way, but that is what the in-laws prefer. That or gift cards). I kept being pulled toward the Roomba, but missed it by seconds during the last Woot-off. After seeing this on your site today, I DEFINITELY had to pick it up. You made my Christmas. Now if only I can talk the family into letting me have it early.

I agree coondogg, it appears Roomba win--at least this scenario. It appears the Neato was bumping into things to get it's bearings also.

I've had one for over a year. It's awesome. Way better than the two Roombas I've owned. iRobot better be scared of Neato, I think. I just bought two for the office for both floor. Awww yeah.

Already $30 cheaper.

Even though it's a refurb, it comes with a 3 year warranty.

Welcome to the site

It could take up to 5 days before it ships, then depending on where you live, a couple of more days after that. You won't ever want to do any last minute shopping here :D

For this one, you may want to go ahead and vaccum before it arrives unless you want to give the NV-11 a challenge.

I just received mine and noticed that the original circular "factory seal" tape on the top flap of the retail box has obviously been cut and covered up with a new piece of circular, factory tape. This tells me that the box I got was re-sealed, which is odd/wrong for a "new" product- Did I get sent a refurb?

Anyone else's xv-11 arrive like that? Note: I'm talking about the inner "retail" box, not the outer, plain-brown one that it ships in.

Mine is still showing at not having been shipped yet so I can't say if mine is that way or not, but I would think that it is odd for a "new" product. Does everything inside seem to be okay?

Looks like the contents are all there, but there are other telltale signs of a refurb: The protective plastic wrap on the control panels have a good bit of grit under them. The manual has a big dirty fingerprint in it, and the panels in the box all seem to be bent up due to a hasty repackaging.

Can someone from Woot verify if this is simply Neato reusing old packaging or if Neato is sending out refurbished vacuums as new?

Don't want to sound like a whiner, but I paid for this with the understanding that it was new.

Hope this is not the case, will be closely inspecting mine. I don't mind buying some refurbished stuff but if described as new I expect it to be.

I totally agree. Does anyone know if Neato Robotics will honor the warranty if it turns out to be a refurbished unit (I honestly don't know)?

I will be inspecting mine as well when it gets here.

Have you had a chance to charge it up and see if it works?
