We attack the darkness! Watch as a crack team of Wootfolk put Spy Net's night vision goggles through their paces at the D&D table. We can't promise this video will answer all your questions about the product, but we can promise you it's considerably less creepy than that scene at the end of SILENCE OF THE LAMBS.

+1 w00t geek point

Frable Creston

FTW

Was that a "REAL" gaming session or simply just for show? I noticed that Randy had a 1st edition DMG while Dan the DM has what is clearly a rule book from a much newer edition. So, if they were really arguing rules, that wouldn't make a lot of sense, since you can't generally use rule books from across different editions.

It'd be cool if all the w00t geek employees were also gamer geeks.

I was in character.

Edit: We did do some gaming that night and do usually have a weekly game, but we brought some extra props to liven things up. We frequently play Basic D&D or Dungeon Crawl Classics from www.goodman-games.com.

This is why I love woot. By nerds for nerds. And I love the AD&D DMG. Always was my favorite edition. I would read my parent's when I was growing up. Favorite section is the one that covers misses with grenade-like objects. Also magic weapons dominating their users.

High Rollers!

Nothing can be done about those wasted minutes, but let me warn you now to save you future distress: If time is precious to you, NEVER EVER watch the Woot video podcast! It is intended for people with time SURPLUSES of which they need to dispose. Use only as directed.

Are these staff members vampires? Because it appears they've never been exposed to natural light.

I can help you with that, but it would have to come Smartpost, so...

We're well outside of Seattle's annual six-week natural light window.

I should have noted that from watching The Killing.

Welp, now I know what happens behind the doors in those "fancy rooms". I will now start to hug the wall when going for a potty break.

It's a contested roll at the end of the night with our CFO. He has a bonus to Speech/haggle, but most of us are extremely proficient in one-handed weapons.

Go to 2:31 to avoid all the "looks funny in print, isn't funny spoken in video." balderdash and see what you actually came here to see.

I have seen a lot of things,..but I have NOT seen a lot of other things.
