I know it's difficult to anticipate demand, but for a product that doesn't sell out immediately, it would have been nice not to limit it to two apiece.

No. Your camera freezes because it is recharging the flash. On most compact consumer cameras this can take around 5 seconds or more.

A highly overrated SD card. Rated as a class 10 but performs as a class 4.
If you are making video recordings get a better well known brand card.

Vizio 32” 720p LCD HDTV (2 of them), Seagate 750GB SATA/300 7200RPM Hard Drive, SiliconDust HDHomeRun Dual Digital HDTV Tuner, Kodak Theater HD Player, Acer Aspire One 10.1” Netbook, Philips Prestigo 8-Device Universal Remote, Asus Eee PC 900 Netbook with 1.6GHz Atom Processor, Philips Upconverting DVD Player with DivX and HDMI, Ashley Rock Axe Full Size Rockband and Guitar Hero Controller for PS2 and PS3, Philips Icon 5 Device Universal Remote, and a bunch of other carp.

Nope, you need to get the update from Adobe.

Except for the fact that a 128GB would have to be SDXC format, not compatible with everything these days yet.

I bought this card the last time it was available on Woot. I have used an identical card for about one year. I use the cards in my camcorder. With this card, I can record over nine hours of video. I know others have discouraged buying the card, but for my use, it has worked very well. Now with two cards, I can record over 18 hours of video and save it in a very small space.

Are these fast enough to use for ReadyBoost? Hmmm, Wikipedia says 2.5MB/s read, 1.75MB/s write is good enough, this claims to be 10/10 MB/s. So it looks like a Yes!

Buy two!!

bought one of these a few months back here. Can't be more pleased, works great in a DSLR, holds 5000 images, and you never run out of space. I don't know about others, but my experience is fine with this, and the prices is good. Just sayin....

I've found that shooting in RAW with an added flash on the hot shoe takes away most if not all lag. The camera will shoot as fast as it can flip the shutter.

any write data on this? Does it write at 20mb/s or faster?

EDIT - I'm an Krampus, who didn't read far enough down. 10mb/s is too slow, pass.

This card didn't get particularly stellar reviews over at Amazon, but it will work with the Canon XS that was just up.

It is nice having a fast card with a good digital camera... it won't take photos any faster, but when you're copying huge numbers of files OFF of the camera, you don't want to have to wait around forever.

Very misleading. They still operate on their own, and often sell items not even available on amazon. When they do sell items available on amazon, there's still a noticeable discount even after the $5 shipping. Otherwise, why would you even be here?

Any sort of media can fail - flash, optical, hard drive, floppy or tape. Recordable CDs/DVDs don't last forever either.

That's why it's always a good idea to have multiple backups. The odds are that all your backups won't fail at once (it's not guaranteed, of course) - but at least with more than one backup you don't have a Single Point of Failure.

I've bought this before from woot.

I didn't believe the poor reviews until the card froze on the and said it was blank (while it actually held a couple months worth of pictures) I tried about 4 different card readers until I got one that somehow accessed the pictures. After that, I never used this card again.

I guess its an ok card if you back up your pictures frequently and don't care about losing some of them.
