I wasn't logged in either, but I got one. I've managed to get one once before when I wasn't logged in to start with as well. It just seems like a total crap shoot (which is what it should be so that us humans have a chance against the bots).

I'd say I get about 1 in 3 or 4 if I'm around when it comes up. It's always disappointing when I don't get it, but I know that not everyone can get one every time.

A story to add, in case anyone ever reads it:

I have only ever got the lucky bag ONE time. and it's was NOT during a woot-off, it was one of the times they did the "games". I think the only reason I DID get one, is because the servers were not completely slammed to oblivion. Every time I have tried during a woot-off I have never gotten past the "enter credit card" info screen, and that has only happened the last couple times. Usually it sells out before I can even get that far.

Well, it only took 3 years, but I finally got one! Thanks, Woot!

I don't know why I just spent $8 on this...the last few have been an absolute waste of money. Back in the old days I got an iPod Video and wireless keyboards and all kinds of useful stuff. The last one was the worst, everything in the bag was for a little girl. Yet still I tried again.

i am so upset - i was at the order page on my phone AND my computer, and NEITHER WOULD PLACE THE ORDER. it would just load and load and load and then stopped. i'm really upset as this was the FIRST TIME i was at the computer when the Burgandy Olfactory Center came up

- and One very disappointed buyer, who, after shelling out an extra $3.50 to get it delivered since they used a Priority Mail envelope to send the garbage First Class (which my P.O. so ASTUTELY figured out...), realized he paid over 4x what a Burgandy Olfactory Center goes for to get 1/4 the quality of items in a "regular" Burgandy Olfactory Center

Woot...just send me an empty Woot! box and it'd top the actual CRAP I bought from this non-competitive competitor of yours!

i wasted my entire day yesterday waiting on a Bag of Coal to go on sale... i sat diligently watching wootalyzer ignoring my girlfriends complaints that she wanted attention... it never came, I went to sleep 5 hours later than my bed time... I've been sitting here at work watching woot all day and it finally came up... unfortunately when it went up your connection reliability went down. I got as far as the order screen... damn you woot, damn you.

I am always here trying and I've missed out on way more than 10.

For what's it worth I did not use any special apps or websites. This time I missed when it came up (after the Panasonic camcorder) but I still clicked on the BUY IT NOW button. It took a few minutes to get to the order screen but I was patient and let the site crawl along. I got the "LAST CALL" tweet just as the site finally showed the order confirmation screen.

All I can say is it can be done.
(oh yeah and yes, it is INCREDIBLY frustrating when you go through all of this and don't get one.)

i hit "i want one" and waited...then finally the second screen came up and i put my password in again and hit the little gold button and..

got a blank white screen..

i hit refresh and waited, i got the "text" version of the confirmation page and hit the button and got another blank white page.

i refreshed and waited...

I got the confirmation email, and then got the paypal email..

After being shut out on the last 4 Burgandy Olfactory Center#39;s i finally got another one. Only my second one. Merry X-mas to me.

For the second time in a row, I put my password in, clicked the gold button and got all the way to the confirmation page and it told me that I had not put my password in. That's a load of BS!!!! I was very careful to put it in after it happened last month. What's the deal???

Can't believe I actually got one! I've had woot up all day and when I step out briefly to make a phone call, it comes up. Seriously the person I was talking to goes, "There's a woot-off today." I said, "I know; I've been watching it all day." They're like, "There's a Bag of Coal up right now." I'm all "NO WAY...YOU ARE KIDDING ME," and run back inside, saying goodbye because my phone works terrible in the building and get to my computer and manage to get one. WOAH!
