First, you usually don’t keep the tubes frozen, but refrigerated until use.
Second, you don’t slice the tube, you roll the dough into balls and put it on the cookie sheet to bake.
In other words, yer doin’ it wrong.

I laughed because I *used to* eat raw cookie dough and hamburger and a bunch of other stuff when I was little away back in the 70's. That said, if you now eat it, it could KILL you.

Here's my no-bake cookie recipe:

1. Find someone who bakes cookies. (Ideally, you live with or very near this person.)
2. Have them bake cookies. (Again, ideally, they just bake cookies anyway, but you may have to hint.)
3. Eat the cookies.
4. Thank them profusely. (This is the key step for consistency and repeatability.)

There goes Randal's Hawaiian trip IF the warnings are correct.

Yeah, thats really not top secret info there. I am such a big fan of "no bake" cookies I have to make a double batch everytime I make chocolate chip cookies because I will eat half of the dough before it ever sees the inside of the oven.......

Um, yea. Probably not the best timing for this particular "Happy Snacking" episode. This month's Journal of Clinical Infectious Disease has the final findings on a multi state outbreak of toxogenic E. coli that was caused by eating raw cookie dough. For those of you interested in such things, the original MMWR issue with the report may be found here

Your stomach is definitely the ideal place to mix it. Imagine how bad cheap cookie dough with chunks of chocolate chips would taste when 'watered' down with rye whiskey. Pretty bad right?

Somehow it actually tastes worse than that.

When I saw the tube at the beginning of the video, I thought I knew what was coming. In part I did, but it was so much more than I expected.

I can't believe he (apparently) ate the whole thing. Even I can't do that in one sitting. Although I have had a Sam's Club size tub of cookie dough that never saw a temperature over 98.6 degrees. Just not all at once.
