Please don't buy this...it's absolute junk.

A buddy of mine had this, and he gave it to me to try out. Man, this thing is too loose and big. What a piece of crap. When I gave it back to him, he laughed. He asked me what I thought. I told him, and he was laughing again, and said " Yeh, it's a piece of crap".

OK, I bought one for my brother in law.

I don't like my brother in law very much.

The tip of the bit looks like it's a foot away away from the work surface ! It might be difficult to line things up.

Also, by the time you flip the thing around, lock it in place and change the "gun" setting from DRILL to SCREW, you may as well just use your drill for drilling and then pick up your screw gun for screwing, I'm just sayin' . . .

Craftsman made something called the Redi Drill (973.113290) which stored the bits and drills in a revolving magazine. You rotate the magazine until the tool bit you wanted lined up, then you slide it into the chuck from the back. You can toss it in a bundle of carrots, then I will buy one.

I received this for Christmas from my six year old daughter because I remarked that it "looked neat" during a commercial. We immediately used it to hang various pictures, a set of blinds, and several artsy knit holiday crafts from Great Grandma. It works just fine for drilling holes for mollys and screws. It is not professional grade but it is fine for light and moderate household chores. I use an M12 lithium drill and it handles full torque just fine. Buy one, you will get plenty of use out of it.

Hang in there my kits showed up today. Ten years ago had one of these from sears /craftsmen that was much simpler and sturdier and was very handy for assembling custom furniture, just went through bits quickly due to the tiny amount of flex that is inevitable since it can't be locked to the driver as in a regular chuck mount.

Ryobi makes a really nice flippable drill/driver that you slide the driver out, flip it around, and slide it back in and push lock with a retention ring. They work very well and I have driven thousands of screws with several I had for years. Eventually wore them out or lost them and could never seem to find them again.

Hoping these work almost as well as I used the old ones a TON. The open body may also fix the one slight issue the Ryobi model had--when you drilled your pilot hole in softer woods like pine of MDF sometimes the threads would load up with detritus and not slide all the way back into the tool body when you flipped for the driver end. You had top stop and scrape the crap out of the drill bit--not a huge problem but this design may address that one small issue.

How big is the box? What does it weigh?

I'm thinking if Vince Offer from Shamwow pitched this product, it would be a hit.

We woot because of the bargains and the price, You will find hundreds of items better, but how much more is this item that does the same job. Come on people!

Fraudulent charges to my credit card after purchaseing this item. One charge at National Express in England, the other at Continental Airlines. Had to cancel my card to prevent further bogus charges.

Coincidence. I have purchased from Woot 74 times over the last 6 years with no problems. Your credit card info got out some other way.

There are grease stains on the exterior and interior of the plastic box.
Dont think Woot will replace. I am shocked at Woot using such underhanded tactics to push used products !

Got mine today too and it is not new and I am not happy. Who makes this anyway?

Tried to use mine for the first time this weekend, The first drillbit (not included) I tried to use was too thick.
So I tried a smaller bit that would fit, but it was too long to use this device.
So other than using the components included in the box, your probably SOOL.

Sadly the best description I can offer for this product is "Epic Fail"

Fell Apart today.

Used it for about the third time and the pin holding the swivel fell out, and the screwdriver bit broke.

Piece of Junk

The concept is great but this tool is made very cheap and both drill bits have broken. I bought three, thinking of giving two as gifts but after seeing how cheaply made I decided not to embarrass myself.
