Good morning everybody! Goodness today's Woot looks like Hubby would love it for some of his rentals. When he wakes up we'll see.

KtC: Sorry about the lights. That must make it hard to go grocery shopping or a good excuse to not go grocery shopping!

TT: That is why we don't have cat doors.

Good morning all.
Going to walk over to the eye Dr. the in-laws use and make an appointment for me.
She is building an office at the end of my street so it'll be very convienant for me.

I need to make an appointment. My contact script doesn't seem as sharp as it should be--reading on the computer is a challenge now, and everything is blurry. Glasses are still fine, just the contacts seem off. Bleargh. Guess I should sort that out soon, or risk headaches.

Good morning.
Called last week to get an appointment for my husband - August!

Wow...that would make me sad. SO recommended this place, and said that it might be a while, but they have an opening on Thursday. So, no complaints! Will take my glasses and maybe get both redone.

Dang. wish we had theaters that cheap around here. I think my parents MIGHT have seen films that cheap when they were kids, but nothing even close in my lifetime.

15 cents?

Even if your parents did, 15 cents would be worth more now.

I'm guessing she meant $1.50

I think movies are $15 here. Haven't been to one in ages. Cell phones, commercials.....why pay to be annoyed?

Son is having his wisdom teeth pulled out Monday.

I get to drive.

Woo hoo!

Maybe I should schedule my colonoscopy and he can drive!

But he has some job leads, so I'll wait for hubby.

Orc does most of the shopping. I miss it, we used to go together, now it's just not practical. Maybe someday. Some of our shopping here have sky lights, that helps. Some of the store also took half the bulbs out a few years ago to save money. It doesn't bother me at all. I like the feel of the store when it's not as bright actually.

I'm personally hoping for LED lights to get more reasonable and see more development.

Sorry I disappeared the other night. My laptop is making the most horrendous sounds, I had to turn it off, I couldn't take it any more.

People talking through the movie, I can't stand that. If I come see a movie I've never seen before, shut up! We only go occasionally, planning on seeing the Hobbit. It doesn't help that Orc can't understand the dialog at the theater, he needs subtitles and that still isn't available at the theaters around here. For some reason movie studios think that if subtitles are available that means the movie will be pirated, the scripts put online, and that it will somehow mean they make less money.

Dang, I left my coupon holder in the basket at the supermarket.
Nobody turned it in yet.
Had my bed bath and beyond coupons in it. The prices at that store are set up to use the 20% off coupons.
I spent all sorts of time cutting them nicely out and folding them to fit in the coupon holder.

All to save $2 at the grocery store.

Oh well.

Can you lock the cat in a room with his litter box and some water?

I could, but that's not fair. She was here first and already is missing the attention.

If anything, I'll kennel the dog before I lock up the cat.

Really doesn't sound like you'll have to do either. An armed truce for the time being might develop into a tolerance and then a friendhship.

Yay, no blood, bald spots, or tufts of fur laying around is a good thing!

I don't think Fluffer and Maisy will ever like each other. Maisy still curls her lips and growls if he walks too close to her. Don't blame her for carrying a grudge though.
