Kinda random, but this article made me smile this morning. Besides all the cool science involved, I find it particularly gratifying to see the guy who essentially pioneered my field of study finally being proven right after some 80 years of debate and conflicting theories.

Well, at least proven right for a certain set of materials and circumstances.
