The cake got rave reviews, it was delicious. If anyone decides to make it, I forgot the marshmallows (don't think they're necessary) and I'd omit the walnuts.

^ This, basically. My lack of originality should not be mistaken for lack of sentiments.

(It's just been a long week, that's all.)

So has anyone got anything fun planned this weekend? I confess to say at the moment I do not, but I'm hoping to fix that.

I'm just hanging out, really.

Good morning - almost afternoon! I have been reading back. Lynn - good luck with epidural. I have a cousin who is very much older than even I (can there be such a thing?) who has them every 6 months. She will not quit raking, mowing, etc. I hope in your case that the procedure is a breeze and that all of your problems will be solved.

Mr&Mrs. Ice - love the baby name. Hope you post a pic.

Everyone else, I hope all is proceding well with whatever is on your plate so to speak be it delicious looking cakes or other challenges. I would love a card club like Poof's - but I am not a baker, and when it would be my turn, I would be in a tizzy.

Have a good rest of the day everyone. Off for a haircut, color, and some sort of style that will only last about 24 hours!

Congrats Grandpa Ice! Snuggle that baby for all of us! (I will not get babyitis, I will not get babyitis...)

Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers, my Aunt's surgery lasted 30 mins, she got the super fast healing micro incisions and is on her way to being her normal self! (It is the best of all possible outcomes! - just a smidge jealous)

My internet went out after my last post last night, so I'm scrambling to get stuff on the server for today's impromptu training meeting. Here's hoping stuff works!

Saw a trailer for it the other day. Was really confused, because I remember reading "The Borrowers" as a kid, but the animation style looked very much like a Studio Ghibli film.

Looked up more info on the film, and turns out both are correct. Miyazaki wrote it based on the British novel. Might have to go take the kids out to see this one in the theaters!

Well, I haven't dyed my hair yet.
Should be walking the dog since it is going to rain.
Not doing that either.
This is going to be a do nothing day.
