Nope, it's only semi-invisible on woot.com because of the background colors there. I haven't had time to go back and fix it. Am thankful to No1 for the idea though.

I wonder why they started putting those avatars on woot. I would have much preferred a new mail notification signal/light/whatever for our convenience.

Apparently I haven't whined enough about that yet since we still don't have one.

You can run wootalyzer in 'portable' mode, meaning you can put it on a USB drive or such, and run it from there. it will store it's settings in that directory.

using gravatar with a "disposable" email. convoluted process, but I like the results:
-make disposable alternate email account
-sign up alt email w/ gravatar. upload image.
-change woot account to alt email.
-change woot avatar to use gravatar image. wait until you know woot has cached your image.
-change woot account back to normal email.
-gravater image sticks around, but gravatar never gets your real email, and woot doesn't get your facebook details.

This without the decoy account because I'm not quite that paranoid, I think.

I'll try to remember, I have wootalyzer popping up on all 4 sites. I will warn you though, since I don't really have any shopping to do I'm not watching very closely.

The new computer (which we are having fun playing with) has been named Aphrodite. I feel that's appropriate for a 23" touch screen with the best hardware specs in the house.

Kids are very excited because it's been decided that they will have their own login and that the computer will be used by all the members of the family. It is wall mountable, but we would need to buy a TV mounting kit. Orc is thinking about doing that, but I'm not sure I trust the walls to hold it (I know the walls fairly intimately). We'll see, for now she is on the dinning table with the laptops.

What a great Ver! They are all great but I do love readers!

edit: Yeah Kid! I have gained back all I lost since we haven't been jogging. We have to get started back. Our schedule was messed up and we can't seem to find another time during the day that we want to jog.

I need one more report for taxes and I'm ready for the tax man to cometh.

She barely played with toys even as a toddler, it's just her personality. I hate when people ask what to get her, because she's the kind of kid who just needs more hours in the day.

This is why her aunt and uncle bought her a Kindle and gave her a $20 amazon gift card for Christmas. We've run out of shelf space, and it seems foolish to get rid of books before the siblings read them. We also get back to the hours in the day discussion. With school and dance, doing stuff with the family, she has a backlog a mile high - and that doesn't include the public library stacks.

Really the best thing for her is to pay for lessons and that sort of thing, but that's a tough sell. My Mom is taking them shopping for spring break, but I'm not sure they even need clothes (I just had them try on all their shorts because spring break is coming up fast).

Night all. Tomorrow. Stupid oven repair guy is going to be here between 8 and 9. Stupid hours.

I feel your pain. Going to watch Castle with Orc before he falls asleep (he's been dozing on and off since 3pm) Then maybe I'll stay and work on programming. //sigh at least it looks like it's working for now.
