Well, I googled when does evening start and nobody knows.
I saw 5pm to dark, which would be almost 9 in the summer.

So someone has to decide.
It might as well be me.

5pm

Only problem is then evening is 12 hours long.
5 to 6am
Then morning is 6am to noon
After noon is noon to 5

It is lopsided.

Wiki says
Evening is the period between the late afternoon and night when daylight is decreasing. Though the term is subjective, evening is typically understood to begin before sunset and extend until nightfall, the beginning of night. Evening thus spans the period of twilight, but begins before it and depending on definition may extend past its end.

Companies often use the time of 4pm to mark the beginning of the evening, for example with evening telephone call rates [citation needed]

Six degrees of separation (in this case three), but a friend of a friend's granddaughter goes to school in Chardon and lives on the street and is friends with the shooter. That's going to be tough to get through.

I was thinking about Cruzer. Well, his sister.
This happens every year or so and reminds them of Columbine all over again.

At that time I was thinking a side effect of all the publicity would be some kid saying "I can do better" as they watched.
But that should have worn off. It was too long ago.

So evening is the same as twilight?

Then it is night?

morning, afternoon, evening , night?
6am to noon
noon to 5 (even though it is twilight at 4 in the winter)
5 to 8 something
8 to 6am

Some enchanted evening
Someone may be laughin',
You may hear her laughin'
Across a crowded room
And night after night,
As strange as it seems
The sound of her laughter
Will sing in your dreams.

evening is when you find your true love.
night is when you dream of him or her.

Heavenly shades of night are falling
It's twilight time
Out of the mist your voice is calling
It's twilight time
When purple colored curtains
Mark the end of the day
I hear you my dear at twilight time

Deepening shadows gather splendor
As day is done
Fingers of night will soon surrender
The setting sun
I count the moments darling
Till you're here with me
Together at last at twilight time

Here in the after-glow of day
We keep our rendez-vous beneath the blue
Here in the sweet and same old way
I fall in love again as I did then

Deep in the dark your kiss will thrill me
Like days of old
Lighting the spark of love that fills me
With dreams untold
Each day I pray for evening just
To be with you
Together at last at twilight time

Together at last at twilight time

Of course, son's job interview is 2 hours after his followup oral surgeon appt.
There is some piece of tooth or bone still there, which most likely will require a shot and getting pulled out.
So, once again, dentist will be canceled.
Don't want to be late, or be numb, for the interview.

well - long story short, it looks like we are getting my dad's 2006 Pontiac G6 Hardtop convertible for niece. Best value for what we are paying, and she will be paying 1/2 of car cost + her insurance.

She is also not allowed to take the top down until we tell her she can - at least 6 months. Probably going to have it temporarily disabled.

Lucky niece.

Just spent two hours at the children's play audition. This town really needs a better community theater, they don't let kids act. Almost 100 kids came to try out for 40 parts.

Edit: And mine was a convertible, too.

Very nice. I think my first car was three years old when I got it. But I was 19.

niece is 18, and is paying for 1/2. Grandma and I are making up the rest. Grandpa is letting the car go for the remainder of the payments.

All around, a good deal as the car was well maintained (as far as maintenance goes). has a few small dings, but should last her through college.

And... She is oh so super excited.

You learn that trick, I'd love to know it. No real worries yet, but I did get abandoned at the audition so Ver1 could sit with her boyfriend, his older sisters, and his mom.

Howdy folks. Took a long nap. Felt like having pizza for dinner. Waiting on Pizza Hut. Been a long time since I've had pizza.

Just curious, KtC. Did the color add anything to the insurance? I always heard it did for young drivers but have no experience.
