Good morning everyone! It is snowing in various parts of the city. In my end of town it is raining and snowing so I don't think it will stick.

I really was fine with the snow the first time around but now it annoys me. Does this happen to anyone else?

Hope you all are doing well, much to do so I may only be reading today!

I'm just hanging out, really.

But I might have a cold.
I have something, try to figure it out so I can take something.

Excerdrin? Always wakes me up.

Advil cold and sinus? This might be a sinus thing.

The arthritis pill the arthritis doctor gave me? It worked great earlier this week. First time I tried it. But from what I read, it is something that shouldn't be taken too often. Potential side effects are worse than the cure. WtheF? Anything that works on the arthritis is like that. The steroids were great! Until they cause something even worse.

If I pick the wrong drug, I'm stuck for a few hours until it wears off.

So the question is:
Is this a head cold?
or
Is it the arthritis in my neck?

Why not try a warm wrap on your neck? Might help either way, leave you the option to take something later if other symptoms appear.

My mom decided she was fed up with the snow as well. We had a big storm in October, but very little since then. Snowing right now, but not expected to accumulate very much. I'm not sick of it yet. :D

How can I marry him is he is dead??????

Damn, I piece of my childhood just died with him.

(I didn't even know about just sleeping with a guy back then. I figured it had to be marriage, although we were stupid when it came to stuff like that back then)

lol, NO guy admitted to watching that show at the time.
Yet when they toured many years later, suddenly my husband and our friend wanted to go see them just as much as I did!
Then again, no guy admitted to liking the early Beatles either.

I saw the infamous concert where the Monkeys had Hendrix open for them. Who thought that was a good idea????

I wonder why there are no more shows at the Forest Hills Tennis Stadium?
Saw the Monkeys there.
Saw Talking Heads/B52's when I was pregnant. Daughter danced so much that she didn't move at all the next day. Had to go to the doctor to find out that she was just tired and sleeping!
Yes, she did like Talking Heads after she was born.
I was pregnant enough to see the baby dance !
I talked to other pregnant women in the bathroom, she wasn't the only one.

It is raining.

I'm borded

My pill choice is sort of working

Should I go to the supermarket or take a nap?

Don't feel like walking Rusty and getting all wet and having to have to dry Rusty off when we get home.

and, the Winter Weather Advisory has been cancelled, now a Winter Storm Warning. 1-4 inches of snow plus up to a third of an inch of ice. Weee!

I don't have much of a commute. Boss would laugh at me for that, since his commute is 30 miles longer than mine.

Dougall's commute is worse yet...but I don't think he's going to be able to leave early.

Good evening. Finished clearing out all of the drawers, linen closet, etc. in the master bath. Then decided to do the little cutsey cabinet I bought. Opened the door, and the glass fell out - you can imagine that after I exclaimed "oh goodness!" so long and loud that the dog got stuck under the bed it was a mess because it was large, decorative glass and it broke into a million pieces. I think I have all of the tiny shards swept up, but it is scarey enough with my injured foot to not go barefoot in there for a nano-second.

Sounds like a piece of tempered glass. the "million pieces" is actually a safety feature, as those pieces tend to be more uniform and have square edges, rather than the sharp jagged edges (and sharp little slivers)you'll get with untempered glass.

Still need to do a thorough job cleaning, of course.

Yay Joyner! I hope that there is no day-after feeling later and that you have safe travels home.

Snow here, they actually pretended to run the plow through the neighborhood (about the time it was mostly melted). Since most normal people had already left for work, it didn't do any good and just made the icy bits worse.

Not feeling motivated today, this is bad because I haven't been very productive at work this week. I did get my DVDs organized though I bought two DVD racks tipped one upside down and stuck it on top of the other (because they had large bases for stability) and fastened it to a large cabinet thing so it's secure. So yay! Need to take more Amazon boxes to all my friends that are moving away. Worst part about living here, as soon as you make good friends with someone, they move away....

No, not tempered glass, as I know what you mean by those fragments. For no reason at all, one afternoon about 10 years ago, I heard a loud "boom" and saw that one of the sliders (the doors were closed, but pocket sliders) had burst. The glass company had no explanation for it other than it "just gave out over time". It was about 7 years old at the time.

I used a broom and then the swivel sweeper. Still, there is a piece here or there on the grout (that bathroom is about 10 feet long - and the glass managed to hit every part of it). Great idea on the wet paper towels.

I am indeed - I neglected to mention that I dropped a bottle of nail polish (purple almost) and it too broke and spashed on the walls, woodwork tub, etc. That is before I broke the glass. I am afraid to go back in that room. It is definitely out to get me.

ewww, that is a mess. Much harder to clean up nail polish.

Somehow hubby want dinner.
He doesn't understand the lazy day theory.
We should start doing delivery of food. Never did it.

Actually said I should have gone to buy something!

? can't you just use nail polish remover? with glass i'd always be worrying about missing nearly invisible tiny shards, but with coloured nail polish you can see what needs to be removed.

Nail polish remover can strip the finish off of many surfaces.

you can always refinish a surface. i assumed since the bottle broke she dropped it a good distance, prolly the floor, which in many cases is tiled or linoleum? and most of the polish is there with just a few drops splashing on other surfaces.
