Whew, been glued to the TV a good part of the afternoon. The tornado paths were somewhat south of us by about 20 miles. Second son was in the path, but had no problems except for some hail and the electric went out.

Yeah. We were stopped at a light. She let her foot off the brake when she was trying to prevent her toddler (in his car seat in a truck, so in the front seat) from opening his car door.

it scratched through the paint on the bumper though, and I have those back-up sensors, so they have t be checked and it has to be fixed. I just called her b/c I went immediately to the body shop. If it was guaranteed to be just a couple hundred bucks, I would let her just pay it. Since they won't know if the sensors are messed up until they get in there, I'm going to have to file on her insurance.

Lucky it wasn't worse. How long will the body shop have it? And do you have a rental?

I still have the car. I just got an estimate. Need to file the claim.

They will need it for two days - so I will need a rental.
