I buy things in bulk, put some in storage, and then forget about them and buy more. Heck, doesn't even need to be in bulk--I forgot that there was half a package of q-tips under the counter when the counter top box ran low.

I tend to schedule things like cat litter - there's no question that's going to get used and it's heavy to carry from the store. (I am apparently a weakling.)

Speaking of bulk! I was really happy when I thought I had no kleenex and looked in the bathroom cabinet. Two boxes! I had purchased a big pack at Target a fair while ago and more or less forgot about it when I put them away. I guess I better stock back up now that I'm feeling better...

speaking of hoarding -- how much cheese is too much? Really good deal at the store right now: $0.95 for 8 oz Kraft chunk/sliced/shredded, $0.10 for Philly cream cheese bricks, $0.60 for Philly whipped/flavored cream cheese tubs, etc. I already bought a whole bunch yesterday, but am considering another run at the store tonight to see if there's anything still there. Shredded cheese freezes well, right?

It does. Cream cheese freezes as well, just make sure to give a good stir before using it or it tends to be crumbly.

Yeah in terms of food, you really can't go wrong with "too much cheese". My friend this weekend baked these lovely cheese crisps to use up her 'extra cheese'.

edit....update - James has been located =^..^= His sister Lily just came to me and I asked her where her brother was (yes, they are littermates) and then I knew (Lily told me )...I went to the closet where she likes to sleep and there he was....tucked down behind a suitcase. Dunno how one of the biggest cats in the house can make himself so small lol!

So glad you found him. Lily should get some extra ear scratches and treats!

I don't have anything scheduled, just order it when I run low or out. So far just Puffs and Eight O'Clock coffee.

Um - future note for my doctor. If you jack the treadmill to a "mount Everest" incline I will not be pleased. My heart rate was fine, but my legs were hurting like hell!
