I received mine today too. I was soooo excited until I began the quick start and realized the wrong A/C adapter was included! Totally bummed. And by the time I realized it, it was after business hours, so no response yet from woot service. I really hope they send a new adapter in the mail. Just totally bummed that I have to wait to use it!

Just rooted and romed my Thrive. It's kind of a pain in the ass but I am at 3.2!

Update- Daughter flashed the ROM and what not and now up to date with the currrent version. Typed on my Thrive BTW.

I got mine today! A day early even! It was factory sealed and everything seems fine. No obvious signs that it's a refurb. This is my first tablet so I don't know what to expect yet! I also lucked into the build number ".0011" so when I get around to updating, I think it should work just fine...

I brought it to work today knowing it would be basically useless because we don't have Wifi available there but I enjoyed having it to try to learn the menus and such. I have an HTC Evo 4G and I can't believe how similar and yet still very different they are!

Does anyone have any ideas for fun free apps that don't require Wifi to run?

Well, if you look up Emulators for older consoles, and grab a good usb gamepad... :P

This is one of the things I'm most excited about when I get my Thrive (it's in my home town so fingers crossed I'll get it soon). I have dozens of NES ROMs that I hardly play b/c the on screen touchpad on my Galaxy Nexus/Droid Incredible drives me crazy. Now, a 10.1" screen and a nice USB NES controller on the other hand is a thing of beauty

I'm in the Southeast..........actually Southeast Louisiana, and my delivery date is 1/14. I'm hoping since this is a Saturday, it will translate to Friday the 13th. I'll post as soon as I get it and open it to see what condition it is in. Good luck everyone.

Update:
My scheduled delivery was 1/13, USPS received the package at 1am on 1/12, and I received the box at 9am on 1/12. Hopefully everyone else gets theirs early too!

power cable works, battery was at 0%, build number is hmj37.31.5.0011 and I haven't tried to update the software. (will visit thriveforums.org if i have issues)

Mine arrived at the PO at 11:39am yesterday. Yours probably got to your PO sometime after that as they seemed to be traveling together. Hope you see yours today. I'll probably get mine tomorrow. Hopefully Friday the 13th will be my lucky day!

They just must of wanted me to suffer. Mine started with a delivery date of the 17th in Eugene, OR, and although it seems to be moving through CA a little quicker than I anticipated, they just moved the delivery date to the 18th. I really hope mines in tip top shape with a usable cord.

Mine arrived! all the accessories were correct, it just finished updating, and all is working peachy!!

I am much relieved and SOOOO happy all my stuff was on the Cloud and just just loaded right in.

mine left WV at 2:10a today on it's way to Northboro. I'm hoping someone could tell me it's a setting issue. It worked the first time I turned it on, then I hit the flip camera button and now it's just blank.

Mine had the same build number, and it updated just fine. I'm a happy camper - and mind came a day early, as well.

Mine was shipped from FedEx in Southhaven MS 2 days ago. Still hasn't shown up anywhere. USPS only says that they've received an electronic notification that something has been sent. The same thing happened when I ordered my Pocket Edge. It took forever from this point. SOOOOOOOOOOOO aggravating!

The status just changed to "in transit" in my home town. Does this mean it's out for delivery?

My thrive is literally a 30 walk away.. says it is at East Orange postal facility, but out for delivery.. I'm very anxious! I hope it comes in soon so I can molest it.

Jersey huh, mines in transit in Pompton Lakes. Out for delivery is out for delivery. Just means its being dropped off at my post office. I'll get it monyana.

I'm in Atlantic City and the tracking is still saying Departed Martinsburg WV. Must be a different snail.

Mine just changed to "in transit" in my hometown, too. I'm really not sure if that means it's out for delivery yet or not.

For those with the wrong power adapters, how did you figure that out? Does it simply not fit, or did it have the wrong output wattage for the Thrive?

Mine is stuck in Denver with a due date of 17th... heres hoping its sooner.

I received mine yesterday. The back was not attached. I popped it on and started it up. It had 100% battery charge. I updated the OS version. It gets a little slow in response time and gets laggy. It struggled playing a netflix movie too. The screen split into 4 segments. It was really weird. I exited netflix and went back and it played fine the second time.

Me neither but I'm hoping so...............

however I must admit, after the last time, I have almost no confidence in this shipment method. I'd rather pay a little more money for a faster delivery.

I agree. As many times as a Smartpost shipment gets touched, you wonder how how it can be very effecient (and therefore economical).

I'd suggest getting ATK just in case it was loading up on background processes. Not sure if that's as big a deal on tablets as it is on my phone. Also, look for any apps that aren't factory standard. If it was at 100%, it's possible it was being used/played with.

Also, if it has a live wallpaper (or whatever it's called), that can cause some slowness sometimes.

Otherwise, good luck! Let us know if the issue clears up, or if you think you might have a bum unit or OS or something.

Framingham wins the race! It's looking like mine won't be out for delivery until tomorrow.

GOT IT!!!! Works great right out of the box. Had zero % charge but plugged it in and worked like that. In 20 minutes had 46% charge. Now I need to read back in the posts to see how to set up amazon apps and update other stuff.......... WOOOOO HOOOOO!!!
