Sprint has no cap on their internet use, so you're best off getting your 3G through them.

But, I can't download infinite games!
how often do they sell game systems, like a PS3? i so want one! or a 360
ugh... runs Android. Pass.
new android tab going out in a month or 2 for 250 brand new blows fire our of water its a better deal than this old one
i got one of these a while back from woot, the sprint version. it's pretty great, but i think i want to sell it and get the new one that is faster. it does everything pretty well except download teevee, which i've started to find more options for streaming, but not everything i want to watch is available. for the price, it's a steal. ...
These Woots are coming too fast! How am I supposed to work and Woot at the same time, I ask you??!!

Agree, its great for phones, but I want me some quad-core Windows 8 tablet of Love!
What if I want neither...All I want is WiFi
You want something useful said about this woot? The most useful thing that can be said is, don't buy these if you actually plan to use a tablet computer. These will not meet your needs. That's why they used to cost more than iPads and now are in the bargain bin. Nobody wants them. Sorry Woot, but it's simply the truth.
this would still only be a so-so deal even if it was the larger version. 3G is on the way out, better tablets are on the way in, and the $200 price point is almost locked in for the not-quite top of the line versions.
Interesting that Google Talk will work on this, but Not on the 5" model that I bought here last Sept. Hmmmm? ^^X^^
I have Boost, unlimited 3G
magicwiser wrote:What if I want neither...All I want is WiFi
you don't have to use it with 3g. i don't have 3g hooked up to my sprint capable one. i have a friend who got the wifi only version though, and they weren't able to upgrade the firmware. i'd say one of these is a better bet. ...
Remember Samsung is not planning for Android 4 ICS update on the 7" tablet

Simple. Just quit your job, focus completely on the Woot-Off, and then beg for your job back once the day is over. Problem solved, and you're welcome!
Having the same problem!
For Sprint it appears to be a $20 monthly fee for not too much data usage.
The Galaxy Tabs are nice because they do have the 3G (etc) ability. IMHO, for 2.x, softkeys is 100% required. I'm pretty sure that requires "rooting" the device (hacking the OS for full permissions). Bummer this isn't the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 *Plus*. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a dual core and runs Honeycomb (3.x). IMHO, a dual core and 3.x is fine for the vast majority of stuff that would be done with a tablet. The Vizio tab (I got here on Woot) is fine for 2.x because is has a capacitive touch home key, and back key on the tablet boarder. I'm waiting and *drooling* for the ICS roll-out for my ASUS Transformer. Latest update is that it's waiting Google's approval. Hopefully, in the following months (?6?), Woot will have referb ASUS Transformers. ASUS now has the Transformer Prime and "Prime+". ASUS did an ~1 month turn :-O for the "Prime +" version because of antenna performance on the Prime. So, maybe even referb Transformer Primes before next Christmas on Woot? If so, count me in for 2+! :-) The Wifi and GPS antenna issues on the Prime don't bother me. BTW, like *most* tablets, no 3G/etc on the Transformers!

Hmm, $20/month for 1GByte download. That's tempting with a 7" tablet. IMHO, a 7" tablet is just the right size for quick checks/replies of emails, and simple web browsing. For me, a smart phone is too small for to try to do anything like that without squinting and trying a zillon times to hit any micro buttons or screen space. I tried a crackberry (blackberry) for a while, and it's not for me at all.

Buy a PC then. It's no wonder why these companies keep coming out with different forms of computers because some people just buy what is new. I'll take Android on my TABLET any day of the week.
