These are a GREAT way to send your kids to bed and KEEP them there! I really could have used these a few weeks ago when trying to watch 'The Pacific'. Having to pause it every time a little one entered the room to avoid them seeing a limb-scattered beach kind of stunk.

Got these last time and passed them out to all the kids in my daughters class and at daycare. Great deal and everyone loves a glow stick! Just note: you have to string the necklace yourself. They don't come pre-strung.

We got 3 packs last time around. They're pretty chintzy on the chemicals, so they're not very bright, nor do they last very long.

They're decent as a toy, and a good distraction from the *REAL* cyalume sticks, but they're a novelty item, not a light stick.

Still, considering picking up some more, because some days it's all about distracting the proto-humans....

IMHO, worth it for the lanyards alone. So hard to find affordable lanyards.

I like to go night skiing at Keystone and Sunrise, and these will be a lot of fun to go zooming down the hill after dark!

Last time I saw these on woot I bought 3 boxes. I gave them out at Halloween. I have never, ever had that many kids come trick or treat at our house. They were very popular! In for 3!!!

these do come in handy for night fishing. use as a bobber on your line, and to find your way back to your car or tent. Also good for when you have to poo in the woods. thousands of ways to use these.

You activate by twisting them to break the separation between liquids: kids love doing that themselves.
The ones I had last summer (looked very much like these) lasted all night long; the yellow ones were still glowing a little the next night.

these are awesome. I bought 2 packs last time they came up - buying 3 this time. i gave them away to the trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood last year & they were a big hit. The parents loved them, too.

It's funny that you guys think glow sticks are still used at raves.

In for my THIRD bag of THREE. These are awesome at music festivals, parties, raves, orgies, anywhere you have a gathering of intoxicated people. I write them off as safety equipment.

Got these in Oct. and put them in goodie bags for the school Halloween party. The kids loved them and every one of the sticks that I saw lit up. Buying again for birthday party bags.

These are great when romping along the beach in the middle of the night.

We live in a rural area that has a couple blackouts a year (live too close to a bar that has a blind exit... if they make it past that there's a wicked curve that they often miss...)

These will make a great backup to a flashlight/candle/phone for light...
