Super glad I bought one of these earlier in today's Woot! Off for the same price with almost exactly the same specs except that it has only a 1TB drive and no wireless card.

Just... feeling really super glad about that decision, now.

These are damn old, don't even have Gbit ports..

These belong in a dumpster...

Has as many cores as 4 apples...the fruit, not the computer.

One can build the same machine cheaper brand new, probably including windows.

If you ask me, no (functioning) computer belongs in a dumpster. At this price, however, this one is a pass for me.

BULL, 8 gigs of RAM, 1.5 Terabyte HD, A decent chip and all the rest. I bet you can't buy it all for $385.

I'm obviously looking at this through a computer soooo... no. At least there's only 25.

I think I time traveled to the last woot-off

No one cares how many barges of crude you've purchased, or which woots you've wooted.

Just add a new PSU (power supply), GPU (video card), and and SSD, and you have a great machine. The 960t has a (very high probability) of unlocking into a 6-core.

I don't want it for myself. Desktops are becoming obsolete. I have a nice one and only use it because I have a monster monitor that I love on it. When the monitor dies, I'll barely use it and keep my music, photo's and documents on ext HD's. That was a good deal for a kid going to college or a home computer.

I know because that's what I have in my rig at the moment. OC' to 3.8GHz with no effort whatsoever as well. ;-)

I'm slowly building a budget server cluster for my projects; I make use of anything I can get my hands on since I am, indeed, a college student. But I have a nice desktop for my own entertainment and most use. The others are terrific for hosting my own private servers for various things.

For the average user, desktops are going out of style, but I personally like them, since they're more powerful on average, and they're easier to maintain.

Just bought it, fully planning on doing just that. Which GPU did you choose and why?
