For $35 I can't disagree more with the "I want one!" button.

This uses a CREE XRE-Q5 LED, which outputs about 70 lumens per watt.

The latest generation CREE XMLs output well over double that per watt. If you're handy with a soldering iron (and get the correct size MCPCB) you might be able to swap in a better emitter.

I'm a Fenix fan myself, having recently lost my $40 pocket flashlight. Fenix uses Cree LEDs though, so I'd say this is a pretty sure bet too. Just wish it was more pocket-sized.
