I'd say I made out pretty good for my 1st Barrels of Crud

Colonel Crap has done good IMHO. Much more randomness and better quality for the most part. Much better then the previous Barrels of Crud

Well, I've been reading everyone's posts, and anxiously waiting for my 2.5 lb Barrels of Crud that was supposed to arrive today. But according to FedEx, my package has been delivered to my local post office and I need to allow for one to two additional days until delivery.

Yes, some people are getting pretty generic "crap" (including myself), but overall I've seen much more variety than in the last few offerings.

While not up to the status of the Golden Days of Yore, this is better than the recent past. I'd say this is a good step in the right direction.

Karaoke machine, NetBoxx receiver/streamer, Pioneer VSX-521 receiver, and a few other interesting things. You also have to admit that if you don't have a Wii the knock-off isn't bad for what it is. I would have considered it a score if that was my big item. After all, eight bucks? The FotL T-shirts cost $9.95 each at a competitor of Woot!'s parent company that starts with a B and rhymes with Guy.com.

They just may not have any more broken Sansas laying around. Maybe they can add some handfuls of floor sweepings or some nuts and bolts like the old days.

Is it safe to say that the Barrels of Crud letter has been discontinued?

I agree it was nice to see the returned electronics. No so nice for the people that got shorted, but that leaves the field open for something awesome to come to their doors.
I would like to know what they will end up getting.

Maybe I missed it, but I have not seen any of those 20+lbs bags or what's in them. Just curious.

Just checked my tracking and this is weird - FedEx claims my package arrived at FedEx Smartpost in Sacramento Jan 31, 2012 7:16 PM specifically indicating local time. That's a little more than two hours from now. Then I checked my calender and it says Feb 2 is ... Groundhog Day!

My 2.3 pounder arrived today....

Received 1 spit dart board, 2 xl blank t-shirts and 1 small reusable grocery bag.

I guess each shirt counts as a crap making it 3 total? Looks like I wasn't among the lucky ones that got the improved crap, I got the same old box as the last few. Maybe I will luck out next time and get one of the more unique boxes.
