That's what woot-off is all about though.

You watch dilligently- get your hopes up that "this time will be different" - you contribute (often in a negative way) to all the items in the forum- saying "the last woot off was better".

And then when the Barrels of Crud finally arrives- all thouse people with Barrels of Crud watching software end up buying it instead of you.

But... we love self torture so we gladly do it every woot-off.

Makes actually winning one- when you finally do- that much more rewarding.

The most treasured possession I own is a glow in the dark tennis raquet shock-absorber.

Never played tennis in the dark yet to see if it really glows.

How its waterproof with USB ports and SD card ports is cool.....but also good specs here on what cards it will work with as well.....

Thanks for the link, I think it's just the TA20 thats waterproof this is the TA2.

The the night mode and Electrical Image Stabilizer are nice features.

Judging from the numbers of those posting on the forums - no - most veteran wooters who were here just for the BӨC have left - and those of us who are hanging around are just waiting for a good deal to make all the time we have wasted at work over the last few days justifiable.

I was HOPING for the Microsoft Mice - but as luck would have it - they posted these while I slept.

Unlike some on here - I actually sleep during a woot-off.....

Do any of these little camcorders have optical image stabilization (as opposed to digital stabilization), and if so, how much of a difference does that feature make?

welps...it's a panasonic, and it seems to have gotten pretty good reviews overall. It's actually cheaper than what you would pay at the store and many other places online and even if it's only about $15 cheaper than other places online, you don't pay tax on woot, and that's $15 that I can spend on an SD card. So i got one...

Me, too. Woot-Off or no Woot-Off, I can't lose out on my sleep. A Bag O' Crap is not worth having Bags O' Puff underneath my eyes come morning. Of course, it WOULD give me additional storage room for Woot-off merchandise and Woot shirts that were purchased the past couple of days.

I think it's pink cameras with fried chicken.
