That's a quality post? In any case, the answer is likely "yes" because: - it has ports, so it'll connect to everything, - You can set it up for multiple-boot, so it can run darn near everything

You must be That Guy Why do you bring your iMac to Panera bread?
Sweet baby jesus, this is more than 1/5th of what I paid for my freakin' car!
How long ago was the last Barrels of Crud? anyone know ?? Last time I bought a Barrels of Crud I got a bunch of CRAP and I want more Crap

Agreed. Now everyone can sleep.
Maybe there aren't very many - the lights are already flashing....
funny writeup. I had one of the first macs and used to make it say things using 'smoothtalker speech systems'. was that the inspiration?
Talk about a w/t/f moment...

That's an open box model w/ a 90-day warranty.
An oil baron in Texas bought one!

I'm pretty sure there are 90% of people use PC's versus Unix or Mac. So you have less chance getting a virus, but you can still get a virus.

You guys aren't helping. About $1500 brand new @ Apple.

It happened about 8 hours ago.
Check it out. The magic mouse is defying gravity on the picture. It's just floating on the side of the display. It truly is magical. Do you believe in magic? I bet you do now that you have seen this

if i had the money....though if i had that money i'd make some serious upgrade to my pc that i built....or pay off something....never would i buy an apple. *runs to corner and hugs PC and whispers* Never my precious never will i be unfaithful to you and all your compatible-ness

Was about to say, I just built a PC with an 8 core CPU, same video card but with 4 times video memory, 4 times the RAM and 4 times the HDD space for less. Even if you add in the 25" LCD I got from here last year that I re-used, it still comes in under this.
didnt buy a thing this woot-off. Cheap sh$t and way to expensive cameras and computers. With the partnership with amazon you'd think they would start getting some stuff we have never seen on here.....but then again we are talking about the people who make the Barrels of Crud appear at 2pm or 5pm EVERY WOOT OFF
someone bought two of these
So I tried to buy a Barrels of Crud before work today and left as it was in the "your order is processing" with the rotating line. Just got home. Still on that screen and it's not showing up on my orders. Am I correct in assuming I got hosed and just close out?
does the mouse come stuck to the monitor like it is in the picture?
I may not like iMacs, but to partially justify the price, not many $600 PCs come with an IPS display.

Name one Mac OS X virus currently existing in the wild. There's malware, and trojans, which require some user intervention to work. But as far as self-spreading actual viruses, there are none for Mac OS X.
sorry, but 4 my $, hackintosh is the way to go if you have to have OSX.

If woot is offering nothing but cheap "sh$t" as you put it, why would you want a Barrels of Crud What do you think is in there?
20% bought 2? Must be nice.
Apple unloading these on Woot? This can't be a good sign for desktop computers. Oh right, we're in a recession.
Oh yeah, I'm sure it's worth dealing w/ a questionable, possible scam retailer!
You should use that 75% off woot employee discount and buy them all!

No, it's a quality post because "Will it work with a Mac?" is one of Woot's most famous memes.

That may be true, but as I recall, both Linux and Windows smoked OSX in a hacker/security faceoff a year or two ago. OSX was hacked easily, in less than a day, compared to M$ or RedHat.
$22 shipping brings it to $1022

It's dead, Jim!
I can't remember seeing a Mac on Woot, unless I missed something sence 2006?? Anyone seen one before tonight??
*Yawn* Too much apple junk for me I am just not that into it so I guess it is off to bed. This woot off was a disappointment, what I really wanted was a thrive or iconia at a super low magical woot price but I either missed it between the ipad and the reflective vest or woot didn't come through... *Sigh* I guess I will be stuck with my 7" galaxy tab for a while longer.
Apple has an economy larger than Greece at 400 billion, and they did it by selling only like 240 products. Seriously, Apple products are WAY overpriced.
The monkey must fly next.......
