I'm also curious as to the shipping time on this thing... I'm anxious to get this thing!

Technically, today is only the third day since ordering. I'm not worried.

How about this : do we know where they're shipping from? That would make a large difference in the arrival time.

I think they normally ship from Texas but I could be wrong

When I got my desktop it was shipped from an HP location in CT, when I got the laptop I don't remember where they shipped from but it came w/in 5-6 days (calendar days, not business days), via UPS. In both instances, several people reported receiving the item before tracking info ever showed up.

I work from home and watching the UPS and FedEX guys driving by every hour or so and stop everywhere else has been like special punishment.

I've also had many Woots show up at my doorstep before the tracking info showed online. No complaints at all though, it's like a surprise.

Ditto! I had been on the fence about purchasing a tablet, but pulled the trigger when I saw this sale. I've been following CM9s progress and I'm stoked to try it out!

well I want to know when mine will ship. Woot has grabbed the money out of my account but no shipping info. I find I don't care for that.

I too am anxious for shipping details, but I don't think it is unreasonable for them to secure payment before they ship the product.

Also anxious to finally get my hands on a tablet now that I pulled the trigger. In the meantime I've been trying to make time go by faster by researching WebOS preware and CM9 development as well as gathering all the files necessary to install android and ordering accessories of all kinds. It seems that Woot! does update the shipping info rather slowly when it is direct shipped from 3rd party vendors as ThunderThighs and others suggested the touchpad probably was. For instance an order I placed on wine.woot during the woot off shipped on the 27th but Woot just changed its status to shipped and sent me tracking info last night. I'll also be stalking the delivery drivers going up and down my street every day until my touchpad finally arrives... :-D

It's a good kind of surprise.

It clearly says that the items can take 5 business days to ship. Like others here I have had items show up before the tracking info was emailed and i have had things (like my roku) that took 4 weeks.

At this point it is not down to Woot, but down to the vendor who was selling them, which I am assuming was HP. HP is in charge of shipping them, not Woot. So patience. They will be here soon.

No shipping update on my order. It does normally take 4-5 days before I receive a notification so be patient. I live in Texas and it normally takes 3-4 days for my items to arrive once I track them so they must never ship from Texas for me. I would receive the package in 1-2 days if they shipped from Texas. I have never received an item before receiving tracking information but I'm still a Woot nooblet, only 13 Woots under my belt. I can hardly wait to receive my package as well.

I think my wife is pulling my leg. She is hinting that they (we ordered his and hers) arrived today.

I just hope that ICS gets out of alpha on the touchpad soon so I can have the best of both worlds.

Toledo isn't gonna like this...it shipped from Grove City, OH. I think there is a Wolverine fan in the warehouse there.

It came by FedEx. My wife didn't get a good look at him, he could have been a pigeon.

That doesn't shock me. FedEx is awful around here. I think lots of things get routed past Toledo to Detroit and then back down here. I should still see it by Friday...

Me too, I'm on a business trip next week and would really like to have my tablet. Nike will be fun but it will be better with a Touchpad.

The day of the Touchpad Sale, I bought one of Sellout's 16 GB models. I also bought the TP Touchstone/Case/Keyboard Bundle on Ebay. They came in the mail today, via UPS. Those were official, sold and shipped from HP, with a return address of Garland, Texas.

I suppose these are being sold and shipped from somewhere else entirely if sholander's came from Grove City, Ohio, and not from HP's warehouse directly. Perhaps the refurbishment center?

If they shipped FedEx ground you can go to the FedEx ground service map , use zip 43123 for Grove City OH and you can see how many days it takes to deliver.

Now everyone is making me want to track down the fedex guy tonight.

I've never wished I was from Ohio until now...

What was the reference from the shipper on the box? If you could tell us that we can all track our shipment through fedex. We just need the reference number then we just enter our postcodes etc.

According to the fedex map im in the 2 day region. I should get mine tomorrow ^_^
