BTW, you get 90 days of free support when your device is new, but since that started when the original buyer registered, they want to charge you $14.95. However, since they couldn't fix it over the phone, they ended up waiving the fee at the end. They did say it is still under warranty, so they would repair it. The tech said, though, you shouldn't have to do that, get Woot to send you a new one.
Well now something interesting. After problems with the wifi, I suddenly couldn't shut the device down, so I just let it continue searching overnight while unplugged until it completely powered down. I decided to bring it into work and plug it in. When it booted back up, I ran through the setup again. It was able to detect the wireless here and I was able to setup my TP. And it was also shutting down properly. I'm gonna bring it home and test out different scenarios before deciding exactly what to do. I already contacted woot and they gave me a return label to use, but maybe I won't need it after all.
