The size is all wrong, the tegra chipset makes hacking it *SUCK*. It spends 90% of it's time in the bricked corner of shame.

Cyanogenmod works on it, but the overall hardware performance sucks.

Not too bad of reviews but I think I like my girlfriends Kindle fire enough to spend $20 less.

Bought this over a year ago. Not happy with it. ViewSonic has dropped the ball on support and if it weren't for the XDA/Dev. Community it would be a total POS. The dev community has done some wonders, but without cooperation from ViewSonic and NVidia/driver support -- there's only so much they can do.

I would NOT buy this again.

I grabbed one of these for the house a few months back… makes a great remote and home automation center.

Got one of these in Aug, after loading BC and all, it's slow, painful to use and not worth the hassle, but if you really want one, I'll sell you mine at half price...

Nope sorry Woot this won't run Android.Google Skymap app, no compass or built in GPS.

Seems like such a slow day for a woot-off...

Bought mine almost a year ago, and while the screen has its drawbacks... I dig this thing. The screen issue is managable. With a good C.M. upgade this thing style rocks. But do yourself a favor and get 16 or 32gb chip for it. Helps a lot. P.S. battery still goes ten hours!

Ah! The ever present gTablet. Still my go to tablet after many months of use. Yea, I know the viewing angle sucks and it's a fingerprint magnet....but I can change roms faster then changing my underwear and it never lets me down.

Why do tablets exist? I was reading up on the Kindle Fire and it does everything my smart phone and laptop do. Why would someone buy a tablet?

This will need to be rooted to use honeycomb. However, with only 512 mb ram performance will be sluggish when viewing video or playing games. This tablet is lesser than Asus transformer, Toshiba thrive or acer iconia but those usually sell for more.

If your money is tight, this is the deal to go for. If you have more to spend, the Xoom was earlier. I have it and I'm happy with it. Ratings of it are higher than this.

For a child or a penny pinching adult, $225 is about the best deal you'll get for a tablet. Read CNET and other reviews quickly, there's still 75 percent left but they could go fast.

Look, say what you will... I love this tablet (rooted). But its snappy, the screen response is decent and the price is right. Can't go wrong for 220 bucks.
