Could this work as a hotspot somewhere other than a car? My parents' house gets HORRIBLE reception, and I wonder if it could be used as a signal enhancer in places other than the car.

Also it makes me think of Back to the Future with its mystical signals here and antennae there and the magic it apparently makes :p

i pulled an unhooked "box" out of my jeep that looked a lot like that one. it has a couple of plugged holes in the roof and a bracket above the rear pass tail light, ex police vehicle and a crazy previous owner or two...

i plan on using this to amplify my brain waves. i will be able to control traffic lights from my car!

Curious as to how well this actually works, but not $100 curious.

Also looks like this wouldn't play well with T-Mobile data. They seem to use mostly ~1700MHz and ~2100MHz.
