so I'm comparing the speed of the notifications from my woot phone app to the speed at which the site updates when I refresh it on my computer and I get push notifications from the app waaaaay before reloading the web page shows a different product. does that seem weird to anyone else?

All the woot checker stuff seems to get the switch before the actual webpage.

I've noticed it appears on their twitter page before it refreshes, as well.

Think about it... If the site goes down, which it is likely to do during the Barrels of Crud a staff member needs to reset it... When are staff in the office (normal business hours).

no, last night it was ridiculously slow. especially between like 3 and 8 a.m. (eastern time, US) there were products that were up for almost an hour. and almost nothing went this fast.
