Current owners please enlighten me.

I had a Roomba, bought the Neato and with it's suction being so powerful, it pulls the dust and bits from the corners. We also have floor registers and it has not gotten stuck in them like the Roomba did. There is also a thin area rug that it goes over w/out catching it up.

I got one of these from woot earlier this month. As a long time Roomba (and Scooba) user I was skeptical, but after a few weeks of use I'm totally sold. Admittedly it's not as good as the Roomba at cleaning corners and edges. But... it doesn't get all clogged with pet hair like the Roomba does, needs a lot less maintenance, and a whole lot less time to clean. It's also smart enough to dock itself mid-clean to recharge and then finish cleaning the house. Bottom line -- I'm very happy with it as a Roomba replacement.

It could be a great help for our constant battle vs. pet hair, but it could wind up being very expensive. Not just the upfront $300 cost, but the thousands we'd undoubtedly pay the doggy psychiatrist for treating our Golden Retriever, who freaks out every time she's in the same room with a running vacuum cleaner!
