I got the one with two outdoor cameras and one on these battery powered ones, and the receiver...
A couple things to note: 1) the video screen / receiver device is the only way to see the cameras; you can not have it hooked to your computer to record and view the receiver screen at the same time; if it is hooked to your computer, the receiver's screen is deactivated and the unit functions only as a wireless video receiver.
And 2), if you misplace the receiver's power supply, don't just plug in one that fits the hole. Apparently, there is nothing "smart" about the way the receiver regulates the current and voltage. I now have three cameras and no way to use them.

Yep, right in the butt. Doesn't hurt the dogs, just surprises them (we tested them on each other first), and no more dog poo in my yard. They shoot about 30 feet (mini marshmallows).
