A lot of devices are finicky with the connection. I have an Apple HDMI adapter that I use regularly with my iPod touch, and occasionally it has told me that the device was not compatible. And that's just Apple-Apple hardware. If my The new iPad doesn't work with it though, I'm not going to be upset. (Or at least not with Woot or AR.) I didn't really get it to use it with the The new iPad. It certainly wasn't advertised to work with it, it's just supposition that it would. My gripe would be with Apple, until such time as I see proof that AR didn't follow the specs properly, like depending on analog signals coming through the connector.
Just arrived, DOA. Trying to use it with Ipad 1 64, no lit LED, won't charge Ipad, no sound out of speaker, no response from dock buttons. Ipad won't dock with case on it anyway. Another disappointing impulse buy. Giving Woot a break for a while.

What a bummer. I see that you did email in already. You should get a reply from us in an hour or two with some options.
teenracer6 wrote:Anybody know what the sound quality on these things is like? Decent price for a speaker.
Just got two for my daughters (each with an old iPod Nano), and the sound quality is actually very very good - better than our previous two speaker solutions. Feels sturdy, simple controls that are very responsive - in all, an exceptional speaker dock for the iDevices.
Wondering today where mine is in shipment. Checked the shipment email and FedEx shows the us post office delivered it to me on march 7. Nope. Have sent woot an email for resolution. Never had this problem with woot before. Not being able to make phone contact is a little frustrating for an issue like this.
AVspec wrote:I ordered two and have not received yet. I just (03/08/12) received the email saying that they shipped SMARTPOST but when I check the tracking link and just says that the shipping info was transmitted to them. I am not getting a warm fuzzy feeling about this now.... especially after reading all the problems people are having with them.... But I will wait to see if they ever show up before I put woot in front of the firing squad... ;-)
Ok, they finally arrived today! ..... Not sure why it took so long but both arrived and I was able to test them both with my iPad2 and they both worked perfect. They both charge and they both produce very good sound for what they are. I will use one in the bedroom for kinky....... I mean white noise for sleeping, and will use the other for bondage..... I mean my office, for charging it and it will let me have a 3rd screen for more multi tasking while I pleasure..... I mean work....... My iPad 3 has shipped and will arrive Friday, so I will post back how it works on these docks then!
Doesn't fit well with iPhone 4 and bodyglove case. Causes erratic charging.
everybody receive theirs? i have the tracking number and it says it was picked up by the shipping company. how long does it take for them to update tracking information or this an order will arrive in 4-6 weeks? nothing shows up in fedex.

Eek. Sorry about that. If you haven't already, please email us at service@woot.com and we'll take care of you.
The dock does not charge. Am I suppose to push my ipod all the way in or use sit it on top?

Does your i-device have a case on? We've found that it doesn't like cases on the devices. If it is still not working, send us an email (service@woot.com) and we'll help you out.
I can confirm that the AR dock DOES work with the new iPad3 (or iPad HD or what ever they are calling it.) It both charges and plays music. No problems what so ever.
I got this, and it sounds great and works fine, except I cannot use it with my iphone 4 and its case! The case seems to block it from connecting fully and so it does not charge or play through the speaker. I have a hard case that is not easy to remove so this product is useless to me.

Yes, works with mine too. Works with both iPad 3 and iPhone 4S (without cases). Charges, plays sound--the works. Works on all three I purchased. Tested with two iPhone 4s phones and with one "new" iPad (3rd generation).
cma0651 wrote:Mine came today, but I doesn't work with my iPhone 4s. I followed directions, I docked the iPhone, hold the play for a few seconds till the redlight turns on and then press play, and... nada. Anyone have the same issue?
Do you have a case on it? That is the problem with mine. It does not connect with a case on... frustrating!
Mine doesn't charge my IPAD2. Help please. thanks
Mine, too. I tried with my daughter's iPad and my iPhone. I was so looking forward to using this at work.
