You're kidding me. 1 minute too late, I should have bought one this morning. I didn't expect them to sell out though.

I have an older TV in storage with no RCA inputs (only coax). Do any of the older Roku models have a coax out connector? If so I'd have a reason to use that old TV again.

I know I could get a COAX<>RCA converter box, I'm just wondering if any model Roku has native coax output...

Basically you need mid to high-end computer, and transcoding software like PlayOn ($29.99/year) OR buy your Roku 2 HD from PlayOn for $79.99 and get a lifetime pass for PlayOn. Hotels can have very narrow bandwith and limited,and will be used up by the guests. So your streaming would be very slow and poor.

Another thing to be concerned with.... In most hotels they do offer free wifi, but they require that you enter a code to gain access. With the Roku box, there is no way to access the wifi and enter the "access code". This is usually done by accessing a web page and entering the code. because Roku does not give you access to the web, this is not possible.
However, A windows 7 laptop running Connectify could share the internet connection and let you accesss through the laptop. Connectify is $29.99. I am currently using this access at a Staybridge suites hotel with my Roku XS with no problems.

My last Woot Roku had broken internet. Hope I fare better with this one.

That, and Windows 7 laptops, if plugged into an ethernet port, can share the connection as an Ad-Hoc network. ^_^ You don't need to buy any program, just need to explore the powerful stuff Windows already has built in.

INFO: Join us at about an hour before the next sale launches (11pm CST) for a game of Woot! Clue! where y’all try to guess the next product that will be for sale on a Woot site. I’ll give a clue at the start of the game and every 15 minutes. Oh, and my clues? They’ll be pretty obscure so don’t expect this to be easy. The game ends at 11:55pm before RSS feeds and Tweets go out about the sales.

We’ll play this for M-F sales which means late Sunday night for the Monday product through late Thursday night for the Friday product. We will not play on Friday and Saturday nights because heck, too many of you have lives!
