Not unheard of. Just not the norm.

People are putting in ductless AC. That has units in every room and wires running all around the outside of the house. So unless you get someone who is really good at installing it, it looks bad. Plus if the indoor units are what I think they are, they are bigger than the window or wall units

That makes sense. The house I lived in before had central air that was put in after the house was built. It was crap and I supplemented with Window units. I know now that I will never live in another house without good central a/c & heat. At least not in my part of the country

Forgot to tell you I was going to card club tonight.

A friend of mind had a house with hot water heat or steam heat, something like that, with no ductwork. They put in a huge ac unit in the attic and have had no problems with it. She loves it.

I've been getting a kick out of Pearls Before Swine with having characters from other strips the last couple of weeks, but really laughed today when Stephen showed up on Frazz.
