That's what we're hoping. We'll know more when he goes to the vet in the a.m. .
Hard to say with this dog, he has "issues".

I have to catch and crate the cat to have his nails cut.
This will be interesting.
He seems a bit better but still lethargic. At least he isn't horking up the white foamy stuff any more.
Good luck with that...post video

Still reading the hunger games. I really shouldn't read it in bed. It gives me weird dreams. Nothing woot related this time
I tend to avoid scary/super violent stuff before bedtime too.
Current weather in Seattle: Weather app on desktop shows rain and 50s all week, so I know right off that's wrong.
Cat is very much enjoying the new fish. She likes to sit up next to the tank and watch, so I guess I shouldn't have worried so much that I'd have an unhappy cat trying to knock over the tank. She gets more upset with the cats in the windows across the alley way than the fish, actually. Who knew! Maybe she's mellowing out some now that she's past the super kitten stage.

Scratchy has no hunting instinct.
Daughter lived with a cat that hunted all the time. Bugs in the house. Birds and small animals outside.
Unlike the owner of the house, the cat liked all the people renting there. He would leave dead baby bunnies, rodents, birds by their bedroom doors as a gift!
He might have been a zombie. He sometimes left dead animals without heads.
After worrying a couple days with the other tank and the makeshift lid, I went and got one of these:
It's really good so far, plus I like that it has a light.

Lids are important with bettas--they are frequent carpet surfers.

I grabbed one of those generic shots to show the tank best. All the pictures I have of MY fish are well, more of the fish, not so much of the tank.

Do I get to point out that both of those critters are less than an inch, nose to tail?

Cat + Fish = lunch, who can be upset with your lunch? + Rival cat = competition for said lunch.
