That's what we're hoping. We'll know more when he goes to the vet in the a.m. .
Hard to say with this dog, he has "issues".

Poor pup.

I have to catch and crate the cat to have his nails cut.

This will be interesting.

Same here. Plus something is making a noise and Rusty and I can't find it. Did a perimeter search outside. Nothing loose on the house.

Going to freeze tonight. No more freezing shown on the long range chart on weather, but down to mid 20's tonight.

Weirdest weather ever.

Of course my mom is having the lawn sprinkler turned on today. She is not happy.

Still reading the hunger games. I really shouldn't read it in bed. It gives me weird dreams. Nothing woot related this time

Son's first day on the job after training. He has the sap your energy cold. Oh well. Weird cold or something. Just tired and general not feeling well, no real symptoms of a cold or anything.

I tend to avoid scary/super violent stuff before bedtime too.

Current weather in Seattle: Weather app on desktop shows rain and 50s all week, so I know right off that's wrong.

Cat is very much enjoying the new fish. She likes to sit up next to the tank and watch, so I guess I shouldn't have worried so much that I'd have an unhappy cat trying to knock over the tank. She gets more upset with the cats in the windows across the alley way than the fish, actually. Who knew! Maybe she's mellowing out some now that she's past the super kitten stage.

Just make sure the lid is tight!

Scratchy has no hunting instinct.
Daughter lived with a cat that hunted all the time. Bugs in the house. Birds and small animals outside.

Unlike the owner of the house, the cat liked all the people renting there. He would leave dead baby bunnies, rodents, birds by their bedroom doors as a gift!
He might have been a zombie. He sometimes left dead animals without heads.

After worrying a couple days with the other tank and the makeshift lid, I went and got one of these:

Lids are important with bettas--they are frequent carpet surfers.

Morning all - err good afternoon. Went to the main post office at 8AM - they don't open until 9 AM. Since when? Everywhere? Stayed around downtown - pretty quiet - tennis players out, bicyclers out, stores closed, few tourists walking about. Rather nice because the sun was warm - temp about 70 at that time.

Singular - fish? Looks like a couple at least, but not the same kind. Or, is this a generic pic? Gosh, I hope you have good luck with the fish. I really and truly don't know what went wrong with mine.

I grabbed one of those generic shots to show the tank best. All the pictures I have of MY fish are well, more of the fish, not so much of the tank.

I feel left out.

This is the catfish that survived all catastrophes that befell the fish tank.
Survived the 10 year old throw-the-pingpong-ball-into-the-fishbowl goldfish.
Survived the guppy overpopulation disaster.
Survived the I cleaned the fishtank with soap and almost everyone died when I put the fish back in.

Then I got the nastiest betta fish the world has ever seen.
He was always fluffed out in display mode, which is fight mode.
He ate the poor cat fish's fins off.
So, I had two tanks with one fish each until they both died.
Catfish had to be 8 or older.
Betta was under a year.
