afternoon peeps

have had a busy couple o' weeks...more breakage and mayhem, and also spending time at hosp with friend who had surgery. but home on my couch now, surrounded by furries.

and yes, bought mega millions tickets...first time ever. gotta pay off the reddogs vet bills somehow!

Okay, trying to set up my laptop. Thank God my computer person is coming tonight. I've never touched a laptop before. I got to the agreement window. First, don't know how to check a box without a mouse. Second, went past the first box and don't know how to get it back up.

Directions?

Edit: Never mind, didn't have the touch pad on.

how about 2 yr old refrigerator deciding to stop working....of course, no longer under warranty. big french door fridge, so wasn't a cheapie. friend tears it apart, messes around with it, puts it back together.....it starts working. perfectly. went nearly a week w/o a fridge tho, so living out of a cooler was oh so much fun.

I may have actually been up earlier than you yesterday...hadda be at my friends house at 6 ayem to take her to hosp, and she lives 45 min away. So I was up at 4:30. Didn't lv hosp til 7:30 last night. I was a trifle tired last night. Turn signals quit workin on the jeep on my way home too....figured it was a fuse but too dark to check so waited til I got home. Just like the fridge tho - friend opened fuse panel, checked everything, turn signals started working. methinks I gots gremlins.

I had the same experience with my GE french door, bottom freezer. I had purchased an extended warranty, so service came (albeit at a snail's pace) and changed out the motherboard or computer thingy. Since then, I have read that these fridges (and my daughter has an LG) have a habit of failing just out of normal warranty. Her fridge did too - same problem.
