Hi all. Been super busy the last week. Took niece to dps for her driving test yesterday. She passed! I went and picked up her new (to her) car today and she got it after she got off from work. She is excited. Im a nervous wreck! :-)

she has been driving a lot with me. but it's a whole other story having her out there on her own without me to watch out for her. She's actually a pretty good driver though - and is very cautious.

This is good - because we are basically buying her my Dad's 2006 Pontiac G6 hard top convertible. Looong story - but it basically helps him get out from under the car note that he can't afford (his ex actually was the driver of the car). Car has been well maintained, serviced timely, and checked out - so the engine is in as good of shape as possible, barring unforseen circmstances.

I'm fronting the $ up front by paying the 11 payments left (which are basically all principal at this point. Niece is responsible to pay me 1/2 cost of the car over a 3 year period. I'm paying the other 1/2. My mom is probably going to split that 1/2 with me though.

I was lucky I got her to show up for the giving of the car to niece. I was making kind of a big deal - because it is and it should be. First car! (first car payment lol - $75 a month)

April fools day joke at the condo. The new Internet password became effective today. There are two sets of passwords. One set was mailed out and is posted on their website. One set was passed out at the homeowners association meeting. Guess which one works! Of course they start using the password on a day when the management office is closed.

The nice Frontier tech guy added my notebook's MAC addy so we can get in today.
