A friend was in her mom's house with her family. They raised the roof and put an apt up there.

When they divorced, the husband wanted his money out of the house.
The mom had died and I guess she gave the house to her daughter and husband.

They settled on a price before the crash. Didn't pay out until a year after the crash.
The house was at least 100 grand less, so she had to pay him $50,000 more than he should have gotten.



Can you buy her out? Or isn't it worth it.

I sort of assumed your house was large enough for you to sort of avoid each other. Enough bathrooms and maybe a living room and den.
