I am mad at myself - watched that wretched final show of The Bachelor. There was nothing else on, and I was reading - but still, what garbage. Dancing with the Stars is starting soon. Looking forward to seeing how Martina does. I have found myself watching BookTV and the Science Channel lately. I just cannot get very interested in the drama stuff, the comedy stuff, and the awful reality tv stuff for the most part. I do like to watch that show on how things are made. I find it fascinating.

Most of the on air people are part time.
Her cousin, in sales for the same company gets a great benefit package.
It isn't a small company. They own madison square garden and radio city and are the only cable provider

If you want to be a TV reporter you have to start out small and work your way up. If you want money, sales is the place to be, or eventually work your way into station management. There are still good jobs in TV, but you have to pay your dues. Just don't work for Media General.

There's a BookTV now? I think [i]How It's Made has turned into a surprise hit for the Science Channel.
