Took him for follow up - it's looking good and lens should be able to be placed in 3-4 weeks.

He's actually short 2 eyes. He WAS going to get them fixed one at a time but now when this one is fixed he's not getting the other one done, too tramatic.

Afternoon all. I wonder if tomorrow is Hemp fest, it's usually the last weekend in April, but I happen to know for a fact that the park is being used for CommUNITY walk then because Ver1 is dancing. I thought it was just a shallow attempt to kick the pipe sellers out of the park.

tomorrow is hemp fest, community is next week.

so hemp fest isn't nailed to 4/20?

Thanks for checking. I was just going to avoid the park tomorrow anyway (no one can parallel park during events). As I said, community I know about.

I don't think so, because sometimes their is other stuff in the way. Ren Fair is the first weekend in May, then the grass takes a month to recover - longer if it rains.

edit: and now facebook reminds me of the other event (besides the fact that Earth Day lasts 3 weeks in this town - events everywhere.) It's the local U's Mom's weekend, the other U had theirs last weekend.

Okay, went out to eat, watched the news, fell asleep.

Well, another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once.

Made dinner, ate, did water changes and fw topoff downstairs, fertilized the yard, did laundry, watched some Graham Norton and now am going to bed. Another busy day tomorrow!

Well, I didn't go to bed early any way. Just woke up and starting work. Had to run errands this morning and had a meeting this afternoon. Sleep kinda didn't fit in there.

Yeah, that's about right. And it's a huge wooden school teacher desk. Part of it is taken up with a cat bed though. Sigh.

Maisy scared the crap out of me last night with a major seizure. Worst yet. Full on body twisting, leg twitching, back arching, and then the screaming started. Lasted well over a minute. Lost her bladder too which hasn't happened before.

That's awful. So they're getting worse and more frequent? Nothing the vet can do? How is she after?

Right now, I'm monitoring. They're not close enough together to medicate at this point although this was the closest... two weeks after her last one. The last one was really small and short so I thought she was doing better.

So far, they've happened in Oct, Jan, Apr 4 & 19.

Orc got me hooked on mental floss. Lots of great factoids.

Watching Dragonball with the kids. Almost through the original series.

A bit dazed for a few minutes, especially this one. I just pet her and talk to her through the seizure and as she comes out of it. She kinda just laid there like jello for a few minutes and panted. After I got her and the floor cleaned up, I laid down with her and gave her belly rubs for a while. The rest of the night, she pretty much stuck to me like glue.

I'm a bit worried about that now. With the first three, each one was a bit shorter and less intense than the previous one. I was pretty optimistic. Then this one. Whew.

Of course, I don't have any idea if she's had some when I wasn't here. Especially when I worked at the school district.

I bet. Orc and I used to watch it in college with friends, but we'd never seen the original series, it's more fun - and the fights are much shorter.
