Anyone here have any experience with peel & stick wall decals? Two big windows in the new room. Husband and I both decided we don't want drapes, curtains, blinds, anything. The only time we're there is to eat or to walk through to the laundry room and both windows are in the back yard with a neighbor to each side. BUT, people (read everyone one in the family, kids, friends, neighbors) keep asking what I'm going to do about window treatments. And when I say, "Nothing," you can see them doing their best not to say, "Are you out of your mind?" So I was thinking of an ivy border around the windows.

That paint is what I think is called eggshell, so that shouldn't be a problem.

They're saying that for us as well, but so far it's dry. Short t-storm last night, and quite a bit of rain.

Good morning everybody! We finally had some rain late yesterday and last night. It was raining pretty hard when I took our big brown dog out at 1:30. We went to early church this morning. I think I'm going to put on sneakers and socks. My feet are cold! We may have to have shut the windows and turn on the heat tonight. Hope everybody has a great day.

Forecast shows it might snow Tuesday and Wednesday. Poor flowers.

Totally messed up so far today, stayed up late, didn't get as much as I wanted done, and then missed church. Plus I needed to corner my boss after church, I guess I'll call him since he didn't answer my email about a meeting tomorrow morning and I'm not getting up at 7 (after going to bed around 4) if he isn't going to be able to meet.

Edit: Yay, boss emailed me!

Forecast isn't calling for accumulation here, but I bet it will still take down a lot of trees. Rough year for trees, between the hurricane winds and early snow last year and now this.
