Ducky, how do you like Seattle? Or did you live there anyway.

I like it very very very much.
Needed to get out of Vegas. Seattle suits me well.

Sometimes I wear hats.

Well, hats would come in handy when not wearing pants if the occasion calls of it!

I live in Florida - love sun and detest winter, wind and chill. However, my only offspring lives out there and has been pushing for me to move out even for six months. I really do not think I could take the climate. My neighbor is from LAS and wishes she were back there. I need to find a location closer to daughter because I miss her so much that is warm and sunny, Thought Portland might be a tad better, but she tells me not so.

And home. Just found out I have to have Ver1 to an address as yet to be emailed to me by 9am. 9am on a Saturday is just wrong.

I'd probably like living near/in Seattle, but need to find a job worth moving for.

I could live almost anywhere if the money was right.

Well, that was depressing.
Just got back from an unexpected wake.
One of Son's friends dad died.
Young. Maybe early 50's.
At least the kids are sort of grown. College and Med school. Not kids.
Cancer, so they knew, but much faster than they hoped for.

Plus one night wakes are depressing. Only one flower arrangement. 3 pictures.
More than maybe 10 flower arrangements is crazy, but none is extra depressing.

Having it just one night has nothing to do with how many flower arrangements there are. By any chance, did the obituary say "in lieu of flowers"? Many do.

I suppose so. We have a few cultural requests, at least while the kids are in school (#1 being quality science focused schools). Of course we are looking at being pulled to a place we don't particularly want to live because we'll be getting a house and land, which is really hard to say no to when you don't have either, so who am I to talk?

I thought this post was worth repeating.

Good morning everybody. Happy Saturday! We have a strawberry festival this weekend. Mmm, my favorite fruit. I plan to partake in most of the offerings made with strawberries. Last year I felt like an umpa lumpa by days end. I declare today my cheat day with no calorie limits.

Happy Birthday Cruzer!
