bought two off of home.woot...
use one in the bathtub for the kids (great for washing thier hair, beats filling up a pitcher) and one in our shower... we use the low flow restrictor in the kids one and have it out in ours... one shipped w/out one of the 3 washers but after a quick call to customer support, one was sent and promptly arrived in the mail... all in all very happy w/ the purchase...

Well, I didn't really think I needed a hand-held shower head, but Adamrules said:

"I bought this from home.woot a few weeks ago. Freaking love it. Just buy it. "

So I was afraid if I didn't buy it he would come to my house and do bodily harm or slash my tires or something, so I 'just bought it'.

Now, Is it easy enough to install that someone who knows just enough about plumbing to turn the shower on all by herself can install it?

Yeah, I've done quite a few shower heads. The hardest part will be getting the old showerhead off. You'll need a large wrench for that most likely. This showerhead will just be hand-tightened though. Just follow the directions.

Well, no, not necessarily. It's very, very simple to install, and once you have the old showerhead off you don't need a single tool besides what's included, but getting the old showerhead off needs a pipe wrench most likely, and you could damage the shower if anything goes wrong.

Still, it's reallllly simple. If you're worried just see if you can get somebody who feels confident about it to remove the showerhead for you. The rest you can do zero problems.

edit: D'oh, sorry for the double.

Woot will send you an email with tracking number. I've not ordered anything in awhile but they usually send packages via smart post so it takes two weeks for me to get my orders (from the time I order). I got my showerhead yesterday though--that was faster than usual and several hours before I received the email with the tracking number.

USPS delivered mine yesterday and I installed it last night (after making a late-night run to walmart to buy a crescent wrench to remove the old shower head). At first I installed it with the flow regulator, but the flow was terrible. Really, who can shower with that little of flow? I removed the regulator with a screw driver and was blown away by the flow. It is like a fire hose! This thing is awesome!

I received my shower head on Friday - several hours BEFORE I received the email from Woot that it had been shipped! It was easy to install, and I love it. I'm so glad I made this purchase.

My handle leaks badly too. Real bad. The top connection is fine - no leaks. I've tried turning the washer over and applying the thread tape, but it still shoots out water at the handle connection. Very disappointed!

My hose is leaking after a month. Has anyone else had an issue with this?

Grrr...got it in early today, just got off work and installed it. I thought it was weird that I only had a suction cup holder to install. Come to find out my "brand new" unit is missing quite a few things...

-O ring
-shower head mount/holder
-water regulator

the other things i don't care about, but I NEED that shower head mount. I cannot use that suction cup thingy.

****EDIT***** NM, I found it. I'll call the manufacturer in the AM.

Do I contact woot about this or do I contact DreamSpa customer service? First item I ordered on Woot.com that was incomplete.

No issues with mine and I love it! If these go on sale again I will probably pick up another for the other bathroom.

Don't let the word "luxury" on the box fool you. It's well made and all, but where's the pressure? I've bought at least 10 showerheads over the past 2 years in an attempt to replace an old Waterpik stationary model. Their own replacement, now called Elite, didn't work as well. So I'm back to the old model, having decalcified and demildewed the inside. Sorry to say, this one didn't even come close.

Ours arrived quickly & was an easy install.. no leaks that I saw.. (for the guest bath, so really haven't tried it other than to check for leaks)

Ours had a price tag from Kohl's on the side of the package.. it was upwards of $45+... kinda weird they left the stickers on them..

We had no missing parts in ours... but I thought the hose part might be a little longer.. otherwise I think it's OK..

I received mine yesterday and it was super easy to install. On the first test, it leaked at the connection to the pipe. I took it back off and (following the instructions) took a screwdriver and pushed the washer straight down. Re-installed and no more leaks! I took the water regulator out and used the shower head for the first time this morning. After the spray nearly blew me into the next room, I put the water regulator back in. Will try it again tomorrow morning using the water regulator and see what difference it makes.

Mine came in yesterday. Installed fine. Nice and easy. All parts were there. No leaks. Water pressure was good and the flow felt great.

Went to test out the other settings and thought they were okay. Tried to go back to the original setting and noticed it wasn't as good as it was at first as water was leaking out of the side of the face. Moved the setting slider to some of the the other settings and then the leakage got REALLY bad. After moving around the setting slider a little more it stopped clicking into each setting position and was just loose.

After the shower and disappointment with the leakage and now loose setting slider that does nothing, I examined further. Moving the slider around while the water was off, then whole face ended up popping off.

I read every comment here to see if anyone else had the same problem and only one person did. The dude who bought 2 and one worked and the other one's face broke in half like mine.

I'm searching the internet for a way to put the face back on the head but it's strange the way the thing is setup.

Pretty disappointed the thing fell apart after one use.

We didn't install ours till memorial day, and in about 3 months it starts to leak at the tube connected to the head. Is there any kind of warranty on this thing?

Yes. You can always get back to the sale page from the first post of the thread.

This sale says it has a limited lifetime warranty. I've seen people post about very good service from the company as well.
