I'm definitely not going to answer that kind of question in the future though.
Don't apologize, you are doing this to make it fun. We are human and make mistakes. You don't have to be doing this game for us.
I would like an anti whiner button though

I've been on Woot a couple of years myself and asked that question last week. The PM system is the little envelope icon next to each person's id and your own PM mailbox is to the lower left of the Google custom search box in the forum.

They have been keeping me going all night.

sdc100 wrote:No different than eating pure corn syrup? Not true. First of all, the fat in these jerkies actually makes the absorption of carbs more difficult, which aids in dieting. As such, some will not get to the Kreb's cycle, i.e. glycolysis. Furthermore, protein and fats satiates the appetite whereas corn syrup actually increases appetite. There's a BIG dfference between ingesting pure corn syrup and these jerkies.
Not true. Carbs (the simple carbs like included here) are absorbed DIRECTLY and immediately across the mucosa, regardless of the presence of fat and/or protein ingested along with it. The body gives it preferential absorption treatment because it's the easiest to convert into both energy (if needed immediately) and stored adipose tissue (if not needed immediately). Because the body has to 'work' to get the same effect from fats and proteins by first breaking them down into usable factions, it will actually allow them to pass through the system or go through delayed digestion/absorption if there are enough simple carbs to keep it occupied for awhile.
You are correct that fats and protein satiate the appetite while corn syrup, etc. causes MORE of an appetite (as I also already stated), but the carb effect of increased appetite will ALWAYS trump the satiety effect of the fat and protein....which is why fat/protein are okay to eat together, but neither should be combined with simple carbs (especially the crappy ones like empty sugar calories of corn syrup and refined white sugar which serve no purpose---other than adding to the adipose stores---unless a body is truly in starvation status.)
Study the method by which many livestock with similar GI systems and physiological metabolism structures are purposely "fattened up" to achieve slaughter weight in the shortest amount of time possible....and you'll see surprising similarities (almost identical, in fact) between that and how "they" tell us WE are supposed to eat.

I got 2 emails of tracking numbers today....just after one of the boxes showed up by UPS...containing only 3 of 2 varieties.
Hopefully that means the 3 of the other 3 varieties will show up in the other UPS delivery tomorrow.
You may be a dreamer, but I'm The Dreamer, the definite article you might say!
