How is this helpful? you can't use the screen through the bag....

I've said it before; these are good if you're going to a water park or theme park with water rides. Put your wallet, phone, etc in there to keep dry.

I'm in for two. This will work with anything not just iPads. I like to canoe so I can throw my wallet and phone and keys into it.

But will it float (cue David Letterman).

Seems kind of pointless unless it comes with scuba gear as well.

I have 2 of these and yes they work well. I use mine for my xoom, as well as for my Nook. You can use them through the bag. Great for the beach as it also keeps sand out.

Uh...yeah. It's just large enough to accommodate the iPad. I bought the "e-reader" size one last woot-off and it was pretty nice. Actually kinda big for my Kindle Fire, so this is probably quite large.

5 buck ziplock bag

I have the iPhone version and was very surprised with the quality, definitely more than a ziplock. I was able to easily use a screen-protected iPhone thru the case.

Any idea how badly the sound gets muffled? This might be nice to be able to use on a float trip...

Can I buy a plastic bag to put this plastic bag in so I can keep it looking like new?

I like to leave my house on occasion!

I just went in for 3, I ride motorcycles daily year round in upstate NY, I usually put my tablets and other goodies in ziplock bags on rainy days to give extra protection in case my luggage leaks.

Acer Iconia is roughly 10x7 so plenty big enough for non-ipads
