I've got one of these and I've been very happy with it. I've never tried the card reader, though.

My only complaint is the proprietary charger, but you get that with every Samsung product.

Still waiting to see what comes of the rumors of a purist Google tablet though.

I will take my new iPad anyday of the week over this. Also, you can buy a brand new iPad 2 for $399, $70 more! Much better products than this piece of plastic.

double weird.. from the community list, it looks like this will be offered after the current tron mouse woot.

Meh...As a Refurb, this isn't such a great price. I just picked a brand new one up last month at Costco for $389.

iPad? For $399? Heck, you can get a whole box for a lot less than that at any old pharmacy. Besides, I don't have any use for those iPads.

My Kindle charger works with my Samsung cellphone :D

Samsung smartphones generally use MicroUSB, which is a standardized port spec. Most smartphones and tablets and cameras and tons of things use MicroUSB. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 uses some other type of connector.

This is a good deal.
I received one for Hannukah and haven't had any issues with it so far. Rooted it, flashed a new rom on it.

My only complaint is the fact that samsung went the "ipad" route and there's only one input. For this price though you save about $200 and you get an sd reader which is a nice boost.

The charger is just USB, but the USB cable is proprietary - like Apple's iStuff cables.

I'm generally quite happy with mine, but what I don't like is the sync software. Putting music and photos onto this using the Samsung Kies software (especially the MacOS version) is both slow and hard to understand. On my Android phone, I can just drag and drop photo albums onto the phone and it'll create galleries for each album. Not on the gTab.

According to Samsung Mobile this will be getting ICS in the next couple of months.

If this is the Woot-off again, was the interruption a Woot-on?

Do I detect a trend? This was ten dollars higher before the Gaming Mouse woot.

Not bad, a bit buggy.

Current item is way overpriced by $100 IMO.

I'm not sure if this guy works for Apple but this is a sweet tablet. Not sure why the hate.

Keep in mind that Apple uses a lot of Samsung components (like that fancy new screen) in the iPad. Samsung makes good stuff and this tablet is a great example of that.

Some people just prefer Apple devices. I don't, but I know several people that would rather use iOS than Android.

Anyone who misspells "technician" in any sort of technological field shouldn't be listened to anyway. Just ignore it.

I got one of these without the card reader from Woot before Christmas and it does everything that I need it to do.

My only complaint is that I had a large "oil slick" show up a couple months into owning it. I was hoping I'd be lucky enough to avoid that particular flaw that seems to be inherent to the Samsung tablets, but apparently the only luck I have is bad luck. I only really notice the mark when it's off, but it does make my nice, shiny tablet look a little less impressive.
