Looking forward to my first Bunnies Ogling Carrots in a few days.

My first purchase was Star Wars lunch boxes and sandwich cutters for my sons. As a card-carrying member of the 501st Legion (and soon the Rebel Legion), I'm proud to say it's a purchase used daily. :D

I once got a box where some of the items were missing (looked like they "fell out" in shipping, or something similar to that result if you know what I'm sayin'), and the replacement I got made me wonder if Woot went out of their way to make it extra crappy. Needless to say, a PS3 and 19" LCD were not included!

As you can see I have gotten a lot of shirts and a good number of Big old bags, but there was a long dry spell after my first one. Some of these items were gifts, but most of them were for me in one way or another. Can you tell I'm hooked on Woot?

GizzyNubalo

quality posts: 2 Private Messages GizzyNubalo

My first two Woots were both Bunnies Ogling Carrots. LOL My best friend had been an avid Wooter for years and he got me hooked into checking the site daily. Took a little over a year for me to actually buy anything (hubby was unemployed for a while in there, so there was mostly just a lot of drooling going on), and it was a Bunnies Ogling Carrots during a Woot-off. Then I got another 4 months later.

After that I spent a lot of time making up for lost time... Skil tool sets, 64G USB drives, Lock & Lock containers, a Chumby, and even 3 Snuggies.

Woot really slid the hook in deep when they introduced Home.Woot, however... that place is just plain dangerous for me to visit. It's almost embarrassing the things I've managed to talk myself into buying there.

Since people are sharing their first bag. Mine was 2/19/2007. Sort of disappointing compared to what everyone else was getting. I was hoping for some electronics like the dozen or so sansas people were getting.

My 6.1 pounder is as follows:

- 1 case of (*)speck iPhone 2-pack cases. Basically 6 boxes. Couldn't do anything with them since they were not compatible with iPhone 2 and nobody really had the iPhone any more. Finally tossed them all out a few months ago.
- 1 Dr. Laura doll - Ended up as a white elephant gift christmas exchange
- 1 refurb Linksys 802.11b usb network adapter - no use for me
- 1 Lowepro Rezo 20 Camera case - put it on my shoulder bag
- 1 Targus DVD401 Road Warrior DVD player case. - no use for me

You missed the third Dyson!

We're still using our first Dyson. We gave the second as a wedding present.

The Roomba, on the other hand, served only as a toy for amusing the dog. It was pretty much worthless for our floors.

I hate to get all serious on everyone, and I really hate to get topical, but there is something seriously wrong going on. Most of you don't know me, but I rein a very struck "don't care"policy. Its made my life much easier and hassle free. Realizing you just don't care makes decisions easier, its freeing really I highly reccomend it. But as awesome as not giving a rats hind end sounds, its harder than it looks. Every so often some issue or even raises its ugly head and and blows your self inflicted apathy out of the water.

Folks this is one of those times. I just can't sit idly by while this travesty takes place. Its an insult to the common good, a slap in the face to our collective past, of course if you have not guessed by now, I am talking about the upcoming Three Stooges movie. it must be stopped. Call your congressman people. Its go time!

Horrah! (Me still waiting) - I don't think that the order that people bought the bags will affect the order in which they are shipped, as they all have the same item ID for tracking purposes and they didnt start getting packed until after they were all sold.

1Lb with blank dimensions for the box. Once you see it change from there, that means it has actually been weighed.

Oh - my first Bag had a couple of dead hard drives, a "Curious George" washbag, a cellphone boost battery, and a weird shotgun shell thing.

Still waiting on my tracker. Though I should mention my order number was a prime number. I have been told those tend to be the best Bunnies Ogling Carrots. Anyone can confirm?

How long until the jadedness wore off?

My 1st carp was decent but the 2nd was pretty much unusable and I was bitter for about a week.

My first ever woot: http://www.woot.com/Blog/ViewEntry.aspx?Id=1938

Still have it. Rarely use it.

My wife has an affinity for sandwich makers, Forman grills, etc. This works fine, but takes longer to cook than a regular pan and the stove.

6.9 lbs, due 4/3.

My wife laughed at the foreshadowing when I told her I was posting that as our son is expected to be born any day now. (Our daughter was just over 6.6 lbs when she was born 2 1/2 yrs ago.)

It would be the first time I was right about anything if it turns out to be an accidentally accurate prediction. ;)

Still 1lb even though I promised myself that I'd only look at the ship date .

I could really use a new vacuum... been using the one we found next to the trash dump for five years already.

POSSIBLY THE BEST BoC THREAD EVER. (With a story!~)
