While I have been checking the weight of by Bunnies Ogling Carrots several times a day, it refused to update to anything besides the 1lb placeholder. While I was frustrated each time to see that it had not changed, it also kept my anticipation and excitement up, as I had no idea what I would be receiving, whatsoever.
My estimated date of delivery was 4/6, but USPS is usually really great about getting my mail to me quickly.
Today I watched out of the peephole in my door, like a stalker, as the mail woman began putting peoples mail into their mailboxes. I live in an apartment, and was sad to see that she did not carry any boxes with her. As I watched her walk outside, I sadly went back to cleaning my room, only to hear a knock at the door. It was the mail woman checking to see if I was home, as she had a "very large box" for me, and didn't want to carry it if I wasn't home. So I paced around my front door as she went outside to her mail truck.. the 3 minutes or so felt like 30 minutes. She returned with a rather long box, and I told her about woot, and how I had no idea, yet, what was in the box.
I then carried the box into my living room floor, and called my mom. I said "Mom, I know you're at work, but I wanted you to share in my Bunnies Ogling Carrots excitement." I proceeded to open the box. "Mom, I got 2 woot shirts, and they are both in my size!! Best Bunnies Ogling Carrots ever! Oh oh oh, Mom, there is a Woot! monkey! This is Amaz... No way. This is not happening. That can't be what it looks like. MOM!!! I got a DYSON!!" I then had difficulty talking in an inside voice, so I ended the call, and proceeded to excitedly tell everyone.
