Just bought these and got them a couple of days ago. Can say much about the content of the discs, but the discs come in a single sleeve each, which I wasn't expecting but am not overly worried about. For some reason though I thought it was all WWII content, but as the description says, it is several US wars.

Does anyone know if these are closed-captioned?

I bought this awhile back. There is a huge amount of footage here. It's like a college history course on the American war effort from the Civil war to Vietnam. The movies are dated but entertaining. Recommend...

I got this a year or so ago ad it has a lot of footage of wars and then it has a lot of 'war movies' John wayne and the likes. Well worth the money.

No, they aren't closed-captioned.
Also, the quality isn't that great. I've seen the first nine discs covering the Civil War, WWI, and some of WWII, and I've been put to sleep several times.

Got this when it was first (most recently?) on Woot for the hubby for father's day/memorial day (he's USMC Iraqi War Vet) but haven't given it to him yet...

Still think it's a great buy for any war buff
