Battlestar Galactica. The depth of the story arc makes it one of the best shows ever, regardless of genre.

Firefly is the best TELEVISION show ever - not just sci-fi.

I voted for Star Trek, but I was really surprised to see that Max Headroom made the list, while Firefly did not.

ALF, duh....I keed I keed. As a young'un I'd have to say Lost in Space, many years(ok, decades) later I'd say Firefly, both hold a place in my heart although there were others that meant a lot to me in between those two. Wow, that's almost a 38 year spread between those.

All 5 seasons of "Lost" were great. It's a shame they never made a conclusive final season -- then again, maybe it's better they didn't, in case it was a total, awful, unmitigated disaster.

Firefly, with Stargate SG-1 a close second.
