Tru Dat. Most of the heat from the exhaust/discharge is heat from the room. A small amount is a product of the wattage used to perform the work (compressor and fan).

A sad AC story....

middle of an Arizona summer a couple back, my AC compressor Blew Up! Literally exploded! Repair would not happen for Two Hotter-Than-Hell weeks! Had to buy a portable unit for $350...got it running, in the master bedroom, the Hottest Room in the house, but didn't know that it had a Broken Hose Inside until I walked on Soaking Wet carpet!
They wanted me to Mail It Back to CA for repair...weighing about 60 lbs! No thanks! I opened it up and super-glued it!
Still....$350 for that, then $650 to replace the compressor....Never will I by a Lennox product!
Now..back to the regularly scheduled woot.

The Foo Fighters concert I worked was one of the best... although Green day was a bit better. The funniest was Busta Rhymes... really wish I was in EMS (and alive) when The Greatful Dead played our campus. From what I see online, and heard on CD, it was the best Dead concert ever.
