I never used to make decent mashed potatoes. Hand mixer. They were either lumpy or gluey. I now use Ore-Ida Steam 'n Mash russet potatoes. They're fantastic. Real potatoes. I cut down on the microwave time and cut short on the milk, but they're as good or better than I usually made. Hand smasher.
So when is this "Old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?
